Hi, I am Rachel, the school counselor behind Bright Futures Counseling! I have worked as a school counselor at public, private, and charter schools in Southern California and most recently was the K-12 school counselor at an international school in Costa Rica! Prior to becoming a school counselor, I mentored at-risk youth through Communities in Schools and served as an advocate and resource counselor for adults with developmental disabilities as well as an academic and counseling specialist at an educational consulting company.

In person meetings (schedule a parent meeting) Do a meeting day or meeting block Designated time Batching is helpful, structured way in organizing counseling stuffs. Hi! Im from Brazil. Thank you so much for posting these podcasts on RU-vid. You're making a difference for my work. Im psychologyst and here in Brazil we dont have SEL materials as you do. Im trying to create my own project and your work is really helpful! Sorry for my bad english. I can listen but speak and write are more dificult.
According to the Zones of Regulation, it's not about getting back to the green zone. All zones/feelings are normal and valid. It's about helping students to regulate when they're in the other zones so they can manage.
how do you use this for your own data tracking. im wanting to create a form for counselor data but it only always me to send.. i want to be able to fill it in myself and record the data!
Once you make a form, go up to the eye symbol. Save that to your bookmarks, and when you want to fill it out, click that link. Then if you go back to the original form, it will show you the data.
I love the color scale used for younger children. I plan to work with High School and College groups. Do you have a video more directed toward that age group for Individual/Group Counseling?
