This is literally why I quit my last trucking job. Cameras are one thing, but when they wanted to movie it up to basically mapping your physical DNA, that was the line for me. Been driving for over 20 years, this idea that I'd still need 'coaching', and prompting was beyond insulting and intrusive. Driving is a lonely trade, long hours a lone, you go through many moods when out for 12 hours, or days. But it can also be a time of relaxing and being away from others. With this system, you're never away from others, ever...and sorry, but there are private times you need to yourself even when driving... it's a bridge to far for me...sad how technology salesmen have finally stolen from truckers what used to make trucking so fun and special. I'd rather work in a office than be spied upon all day, at least in a office you have privacy, are in a cubicle, can touch your face, laugh, frown, without AI mapping your every facial movement and sending video of you laughing or etc to 3rd party for analyst...talk about creepy. Has zero to do with safety...we all know that.
Absolutely stressful, distracting and dangerous to vehicles around you. I’m in fear of getting rear ended all day because I’m slamming on my brakes all day because of cars changing lanes in front of me. Stay far away from any company that has these cameras.

"Pull over and log in!" You say that like it's not going to happen! First they said outward facing cameras, which is smart. Then this AI (?) nonsense? I don't feel safer worrying about this thing going off because it is a distraction and another way for my manager to micromanage me. I've seen how my company is using it and it isn't good!
I quite my last trucking job because of this...took a cinematography and screenwriting class instead...this intrusive spy stuff was just a bridge to far. Getting calls from people who've never even driven a truck before was just to much for me. 20 + years of safe CDL driving, and this system wants to treat you like you're in Kinder garden forever...a bridge to far.
You ain’t gonna find any drivers that know what their doing they already have jobs driving stop being lazy and trying to hord money and teach someone 1 on 1 and make a good driver company’s are dumb af now days
It's a micromanagers dream and every drivers nightmare! I just love being accused of stuff like "texting" when I'm using the company mandated app to exit the gate or check in. In America, you are innocent until proven guilty, but in netradyne land, you are "guilty" until you prove you are innocent. How does that work in court?
Love it Cameron , doing good learning everything 5 weeks now miss the chick fil a meals lol thanks for everything buddy n can’t wait to stop back and see y’all at hq
Technically, they can say it's not live streamed. But all the images are recorded. Let's say the owner wants to see "Jon's camera" right now... What the owner will see is a recorded footage with few seconds of delay. Technically it's correct say they don't live stream, but practically it's live anyway. For 5 seconds delay they can kindly lie, without lie. It's a very thin layer.

High driver turnover because the industry treats people like a soldier under contract when the driver doesn’t have to stay for 4 years. You get chewed up, spit out, stomped on, and crapped on.
This is not true of course they can view it. I've heard of people getting fired for being on their phone. Of course they can view it back in the office.
Hi Indo, What we have stated in this video is regarding a question about a live feed or live stream of video. This is not true. There is no live feed or stream of what a driver is during at present time. What you are referencing is the ability to go back and look at previously recorded footage. From the example you gave about the cellphone, yes of course that was recorded and it sent an alert to the safety department because not only is the use of a cellphone against company policy and a fireable offense but using a cellphone while driving is illegal in most states, texting and driving is illegal in all states. The system flags/sends an alert when the driver is distracting or not following certain laws or regulations. The driver has three opportunities to correct his/her action before an alert is sent to Safety. The system is not designed as a "gotcha" it is designed to coach and alert drivers of unsafe driving practices so they can be corrected before anyone can be hurt.
@@jmtanklinesinc8869 Okay so what you're saying is unless the actual device has a red flag and then reports it .. th office cannot just tune into it whenever they want .....Is that what you were implying?
netradyne cameras are fully accessible at any time, or footage from ANYTIME throughout the day is accessible. The camera records 24/7, it is stored on Amazon servers for 30 days. Neither Amazon or DSPs receive a notification of a video, unless a violation is detected. But they can upon request with Amazon look at ANY video footage from ANYTIME of day or night. Netradyne cameras are in standby mode, even when the vehicle is turned off.
