Yes. In File>Preferences>Insurance you can check the box for Show Standard Fee and Adjust On Walkout Statements and Treatment Plans to show the Standard Fee
A Coverage Books for In-Network plans helps estimate Services that don't follow the traditional Service Type plans like Post Resins. For Out-of-Network Coverage Books help to Estimate Out-of-Network coverage based on the Maximum Considered Fee of those plans.

Coverage Books "help" with estimating Out-of-Network Benefits. Example: Your crown is $1,000. But the Out-of-Network Maximum Considered Fee is $800. So 50% would be $500 BUT in your Coverage Book you can say that $800 is the Maximum Considered Fee (in the UCR Column) and then Eaglesoft will estimate 50% of $800 ($400) and hten the patient is responsible for the $600 difference. This is supposed to be a 'tutorial', yet it appeared as though he was trying to figure out how to navigate it in real time. Just Go with Dentrix, it's a considerably more intuitive interface and far more forgiving in terms of bulk payments and post editing claims. Dentists Notes: Claims CANNOT be edited after post. Claims with addt'l payments, or in the case where a VCC is reissued as a check will require generating a new claim where the Hx of office / aging notes WILL NOT carry over to the newly generated claim (Tedious Work).
Phase numbers here I haven't used on exploding codes. I plan on adding them. On my drop downs I don't use a period in front of exploding codes but I use a + at the end to show the exploding code contains all procedures needed.
The second person was a little muffled microphone. Also the big case employer was Boeing (deep pockets)..since you have to balance the account in Eaglesoft, how does your software integrate with Eaglesoft so that the patient is accounted for?
@christyfrancis5524 if you do any form of Estimation of insurance you should be resetting insurance. If you have Eaglesoft set as "Patient Responsible for All" then no need.

@scottnoren8858 I get the MetLife icon to automatically show on the schedule using a Custome Intellicare so a manual entry in Chart ID would be unnecessary work. Also, I reserve the Chart ID for important personally identifying information.
Should you enter the Primary Insurance ID also in the secondary ID line? I work in an office that does this. Patient does not have secondary insurance but they put the Primary # on this line?
Your videos are always so helpful and informative. My question is: can you select more than one option from your smart notes, if so is that in the settings I would need to set up?
How do you make extracted teeth disappear off the chart? It's so annoying. There is no reason to have big huge black X's through the teeth if they are missing. It looks horrible and makes the chart look too busy. Dentrix you literally just select the tooth, hit 1 icon, and BAM its gone.

Andre, thank you for this video, very helpful! Question is if you posted a payment and something was incorrect, I.e. wrong date, added to account and should have been adjusted, etc, how do you go back to correct the posting?
@@TheCrewProcess we only take BWX every 12 months (for most patients), not every 6 months. I was just thinking if it was deleted, then the chart ledger would look cleaner and there would be less likelihood to duplicate it a year from the FMX appointment.
@@brianforeman481 if you only do 12 months then the same applies. If they were scheduled for BWX it would have been that 12th month visit. If they said "no" it's STILL due on next visit. No difference in my previous statement
I came across this video looking for tips on scheduling multiple offices with eaglesoft from a central hub. Are you familiar with any practices doing that?
Yes. There are offices using Eaglesoft nSite for multiple locations. There is also called a Dual Database setup that can be used for two locations. Each one allows a user to schedule at multiple locations Tejay
With all the blatant issues with Eaglesoft we've been dealing with since version 18, these are the updates they came up with? So disappointing yet again. Combine the COM P/COM A into one button. Put a larger Edit Employer screen, so we don't have to scroll through breakdown percentages. Customizable confirmation statuses. Eaglesoft doesn't update MAAG when you reach your production goal. What is PTC doing? WE DON'T NEED MORE CARE CREDIT INTEGRATION!!!!!!!
"Sending" is typically a 3rd party process and depending on the eClaims service provider the process will be different. You'd have to find out their process
