I would love to have the one silver filling I have removed and replaced with a white filling. I didn't want the silver filling in the first place. I went into the dental office thinking I was going to get a white filling. With my severe gagging reflex the dentist said he couldn't do a white filling, so I was stuck with getting the silver filling. I was not happy about that but what's done is done. I got a few more cavities a little bit later. I didn't want any more mercury fillings in my mouth, so I opted to switch dentists and went to a dentist who offered iv sedation. Getting those cavities filled was easier because I was asleep while he filled the teeth. It's been almost 15 years since I got the silver filling. I'm thinking about asking the dentist I go to now if he would be willing to remove and replace it with a white filling. I don't like the fact that silver fillings show up clearly when you open your mouth. I don't like that they can crack your tooth. I also don't like that they can stain your tooth. I don't think one silver filling removal will break the bank. It's just something I've been thinking about doing for a few years now.
Yeah definitely inquire about it. Don't quote me on this coz I'm in no way a dentist, but the mercury 'slow leak' poisoning was enough of a reason for me to do it too.
@@samanthaclark I think I will ask my dentist at my next appointment. I think the silver filling is starting to go bad because I do feel a little sensitivity in that tooth now. You are absolutely right the slow leaking mercury poisoning isn't good at all. He won't sedate me unless there is a lot for him to do. I heard the removal procedure and refilling of the tooth takes 60 to 90 minutes. Then he can also fill in the tooth that he could never get because it aways fell out on me. It would be two fillings for one iv sedation. I think I will ask him.

Anyone with a brain can see he sells the ghost tours as "Australia's Most Haunted" and he is a self proclaimed "Lawrence Legend". The ego and narcissism of a very insecure man should open people's eyes, but people want to believe in con men every day.
