@@Josh.Sanderson i flip stuff from auctions and marketplace etc so this will help me scope out products i know sell well! Buy low sell high you know the rules 😆💪
first i have seen from you, interesting content. i liked the vibe of mates having a laugh whilst working in the evening. can't take my eyes off the smoke on the thumbnail tho
Thanks man really appreciate you watching and taking the time comment, definitely not my best video but it was fun! Gotta compete with all these other thumbnails nowadays
You didnt get scammed, you tried to make a quick buck and you were had. You make it sound like someone has done something bad, you were the one trying to flip a car and make a profit at someone's expense, either the seller or the buyer. Have absolutely zero sympathy for you
I mean it is illegal to know about an issue with a car when selling it and not mention it or cover it up on purpose, as he told me it stopped working when at the garage so I’m sure they knew what happened and told him, it’s completely my fault for buying it they’re all a risk but I don’t know how it’s at someone’s else’s expense? I suppose you say the same about all used car dealerships? But thanks for you input
Would never buy a car off this guy, he’s in way over his head with these repairs… you should have some respect for you neighbours too as nobody wants to see all that going on the driveway 24/7
A good ass video josh! I hope you can post more, i really enjoy these videos and i cant wait to do something like this in the future. Ill surely come back for more
Wow Josh that looks tough on the Mazda and mental on the Corsa, all those bolts just to remove the head, didn't realise they had a timing chain either. Keep up the good work buddy, I know how hard it is to work on the cars and film them at the same as I am trying to launch my own project and its taking a lot longer than I imagined.
Thanks for the comment man, it definitley makes it about 3x longer when trying to film everything I’m glad someone appreciates it haha. Keep grinding and you’ll get there man just try to improve one thing with each time you go
Wow, can’t believe how rust rotten the suspension is. I was thinking of importing a car from the uk to Australia but a friend called me off it on the basis of how badly uk owned cars rust underneath. Now I see why!
Haha yeah it would be a much better idea to import one here from aus! Although they’re not all this bad, it doesn’t snow all that often so no grit. I think it’s mainly because we have so much coastline they all get battered by sea spray and mist. I’ve always thought about importing cars there because they seem so expensive
Yeah, cars are really expensive here. Premium European cars in particular are much more affordable in the uk.... I really admire how you get stuck in to any problem you are confronted with. Given your awesome mechanical skills you could definitely make a living here flipping cars. 👍
I have a mazda 6 same car . Common issue is sump pick up gets blocked and stops oil to the engine . Its caused by faulty injectior washers and watering the oil down with diesel on short journeys
@Josh.Sanderson no recall sadly. I've been lucky with mine changed oil with mazda from new and now I change oil every 5000 miles cheaper then a new engine or rebuild
There is to many dishonest people selling cars so just don't trust them and do your own checks and if all OK then hand over your cash if not walk away..as that's what I do and I've never been so called scammed as yr take a gamble and a risk so u win some ur loss sum.. and personally won't buy a mazda full stop. Good luck
Good vid mate, felt gutted for you. Ive got all the diagnostics under the sun for any make and model. If you need anything, or even a scan. Let me know. Cheers
Thanks man feels great to have another video out that people seem to be enjoying! Hopefully it was just dumping the coolant into the cylinders because the head is warped!
I feel your pain. I bought a car from facebook and was never told it was cat s or that the head gasket had gone. After spending hours and loads of money on it i just kept finding more and more issues. But hopefully i have sorted all the issues as it was a car i have been after for years
@@Josh.Sanderson Its a 2012 vauxhall insignia. I have litterally changed everything gasket wise on the engine and i finished putting it back together an hour ago and im still getting smoke coming from oil dipstick and oil intake and losing coolant with tank cap on. i have litterally spent about £800 over the past few months on parts for it. It just wiped me out
if someone selling the car says something is an easy or cheap fix then why haven't they fixed it ?, that's why I don't buy cars off Marketplace car flippers, selling for a friend or a relative, I just look at cars people have actually owned
Very good advice, I usually follow this but with doing RU-vid I feel more pressure to pick something up quickly which can lead bad decisions! Lessons learned though!
Great video lad, how have you been bro 😎 it’s been awhile since you posted I was wondering if you had stopped doing RU-vid completely. Keep to have you back ❤
Cheers bro! All good just so busy but trying to find time to get the vids out, filmed a few now just every project seems to take months haha appreciate the love brotha ❤️
It was great talking with you Josh, and awesome video! The seller of the first car definitely knew what was going on smh. Looking forward to how the rest of the second flip goes!
Great video mate, really enjoyed watching. With seized bolts, try applying heat to them first, it usually breaks the corrosion bond and should be able to remove them easier. It’s a trick I’ve used in plumbing for years. Keep up the good work 👌🏼
@@cumulus10 cheers man I really appreciate it! Not too happy with how this one came out but must try harder with the next one! Thanks for the advice man I’ll have to invest in a torch for sure!
