Never underestimate Barry cuz he is a badass trust me. I have been following Barry for several years now and I can tell you if you pay really close attention to him you will be a much better player !! Niclu done my friend Barry !! ✌
I just watched 2 hours of your videos, trying to pick up what I can. I live in a northern Canadian working-class town. There’s zero interest in this Jazz. That fact kills me.
I just started my morning, guitar in hand, by rewatching a bunch of your videos. I’m trying to determine just what it is about your playing that I like so much. I like it more than the playing of acknowledged masters who shall remain nameless. It’s the feeling. There’s plenty of technique but it doesn’t get in the way of how the music makes me feel. I want to learn how to play like that.
thankss to bill evans for writin this fantastic melody. why few guitarists play that? it is so difficult ,and phrasing on that is a thing only people like greene can do. ciao from italy.
great Greene hits always, in Wes tunes he is prpbably the greatest in the world, and in joepass style and martino style is the same!. waiting his version of a night in tunisia! ciao from italy.
Too cool!! That sounds so good!! There are some players i just try to learn from- but i can listen to you play all day!! I know this is old, but thank you!
Really nice Barry - belated Birthday wishes! Some beautiful chords as others have mentioned and some great transitions that keep you guessing on first listening (where's he going next!?). One minor problem .. it's too short! 😉 How about a circa 3 minute version of a new jazz standard "Another Year Older"? Sounds good to me!
There was nothing I didn’t like about that piece. That was beautiful, Barry! Nice use of open strings on some of those voicings, I may have to borrow those😀. Awesome arrangement, playing, sound and recording!! 👏
