Good thing i join the wardens. The mix of crazy russians, germans, french, americans, spanish and some chinese made my experience as a new player hilarious.
Hey this game has gotten a lot better, sadly people like larry exist but they are rather disliked by the community. Also larry was banned permanently for his continued actions like this by the devs themselves.
Pretty weird, yeah. going from shovel to non. you acted pretty sus. even if it took you a bit to figure out the mic. you could still hear him. running away while talking is common. for those who don't speak the language spoken. Ive seen players put down foxholes in locations that are prime for partisans to jump in, so it makes sense why he would question you with your shovel out. On home island, they have a training area for people to test this exact stuff out. but no... He can't wait for Basic training to be over. Just go to the front lines and learn there. What is he gonna learn from Home Island?!?!?!? SUS. Larry was right to question. really. trying to make foxholes, trench connectors near the road.... sounds like a warden alt who is setting up "his" buds to partisan.
frontline trench warfare is strength in number so recruits are always welcomed. chill infantry mute the sweats who berate us from a tank, or a guy stops by our trench to larp as an angry pompous officer who gained his high rank by driving a truck all night, but toxic players seem to avoid frontline as soon as their light tank gets destroyed. they usually rage quit after 15 minutes of unheard shouting because everyone muted them.
It's kind of sad coming from the warden faction Because of people like BadmanLarry, there is the assumption that the entire colonial faction is toxic They probably aren't, but I'm still a warden loyalist anyway
IMO Warden 100x more toxic than colonial, I capture and larp with Colonial all time when I was Warden. But my teammates I was team killed, screamed at, and harassed by toxic shit heads ever time I was even tried to do something in this game, but than the Warden wonder why they lose 90% of the time. They kill any new or returning player's drive to want be in their faction and make the game completely anti-fun cause like oh man "My Reg member supplied that anti-tank rifle you can't pull it out of the base without my permission nah". Like lol half Vet on Warden side just want try solo win the war and not work as a team than fight among themselves over literally basic equipment while they're actively fighting on the front. Got to a point were I just stopped grabbing equipment from bases as a Warden just spawn go out to the front with a pistol cause Warden Vet don't want you using anything other than a pistol if your a new or returning player.
@@All0Mighty0Power That's Valid, but I think it is sort of luck of the draw, because toxicity exists in both factions.; Because BadmanLarry was a popular Twitch user, the "Toxic Colonial Community" was heavily stereotyped. In reality, the game is mostly great, but there are a select few who often ruin it for new players. In addition, I think comparing toxicity between factions is relative; from what I've heard about their backlines, and from a Warden's perspective, they definitely aren't welcoming. I'd argue more aggressively, but I think we are both right in this case, yippie! (PS: No one on the colonial team will larp or even say GG, only silence or slander, I wanna larp💀) Also do wardens really fight over grabbing equipment? I've been playing for a decent amount of time and I have never experienced that, and I'm still a Ocdt, so I'm still a noob to most vets Good Day to you :)
I started playing this with the wardens, i ended up with motly crew from different countries who managed to find the time to play together 8+ 12+ time diff. We did material gathering first then logi, then tank squad, found out where shit at it then we tried arti/mortar squad found out we're somewhat decent at it. We have not played together for about a year now as most of us have children now but damn its a good memory.
This is legit Foxhole lore now lmao. I always play warden, probably stared playing around this time too. Well, a year ago or so I was playing Collie and the base was being hit by artillery so I begin to repair. After a few minutes, it’s only me and this one other guy repairing, with people constantly respawning and running away. He starts complaining about how he is the only guy to ever repair anything and so on. I’m just sitting there in silence thinking “Dude, I’m literally next to you, you’re not the only one repairing” then I remember I only play Warden and was only Colonial because my brother wanted to play that faction. So, he actually was the only “Colonial” repairing, lol. That was Badmanlarry, the myth himself, I almost couldn’t believe it. “GET SHREDDED!!” Lmao, great meme

oh boy, reminds me when me and my friends built our first tank, it was only me and another dude, so we got another friend to buy the game and join us as the gunner. I was the commander and . . . . well commanded, the newer dude accidentally shot someone, couldnt talk, cause same reason like you here, and the random dude went off and raged around. He went away into an ally way to do his things, saying hell report him. We got the tank started and drove off, and we came by the dudes alley way he was in, so i said to may friend: "give that retard one round". He blew his mortal form against the Brick wall in a clean drive by. That player was pissed and wanted to report us, but couldnt figure out how and we got clean off with it. Talk shit get hit
never really got that rough experience, im new, and people just see my rank and help me out mostly or give me tips what to do. Ive tried partisan, logi, med, and infantry, and everywhere the high ranking players are helpful. They only places I've experienced rough interactions have been on contested areas under fire and someone is just asking quesitons....
Every now and then you come across these annoying a** players. Don’t get me wrong the community does have fantastic people, but I’ve had my fair share of know it alls who just annoy the crap out you.
Literally bought this game last night never first thing I did... Dig new trenches... Mostly because they had been designed by an idiot and we're basically just kill tunnels. Some captain even gave me a commendation what ever that's used for? Foxhole brownie points?
I bought the game like 1 week ago and my first touch from the game was amazing, i started as collies because i saw a "warning queues" on warden team on Charlie server. I started on "the moors" when collies didn't take the most part of the region. Just when i get out of the base i spawned, two guys on a jeep told me to get in the vehicle to do partisans, i had micro but i didn't even know how to use it or been able to write, not to talk that i thought i must press "E" to get in the jeep, when they teach me how to do that we go with a third guy in a truck waiting us on the enemy territory, i was scared as hell but fortunately no one saw us. We then reach to a mountain and some grasp where we hide our vehicle out of the road and ourselves waiting for some enemy logi, basically partisan. We took like 1 truck and then leaves and the leader even worry about me for waiting like 3 minutes till something happen as my first game experience. I had a lot of fun and now i learn how to do all sorts of things, in one week i even learn how to lead a couple of tanks on the frontlines(3 in total) and my favourite work as collie is heal and revive other teammates with my badass suit while turning on "how to save a life" riding a bike 😎. I m "Invictus" in case u see me 🗿.
yeah man this guy is a self-proclaimed "Man-Child" doomer type figure who thinks hes like some kind of commander in real life or something. He spends 20 hours a day streaming foxhole and lives off hotpockets and coffee. He doesn't drink water and doesn't take showers, he runs like his own secret police gestapo on the game as well and gaslights new players and his own fanbase who reveres him as some kind of like Master Chief type character to mass report casual players who make fun of him for his wild and obnoxious behavior, which is funny because I believe he's a Semite.
