Jut about every video from a commercial rabbit grower about finding stock warns against meat breeds that have been crossed with flemish giants. Reportedly it slows down their growth and hurts yield because the giants grow their bones before putting meat on them.
The Pilgrim Geese look exactly like the Cotton Patch Geese I acquired this spring, the males also being white. I wonder if the Cotton Patch is a lot of hoey now that I see this video. Anyone know?
Just bought 3 Romanov sheep today and i got a question? For matting do i have to keep their own baby ram 🐏 or get it from somewhere else same breed to produce 3-4-5 baby sheep???
Having "cave-man cow" would be a conversation starter at the local live stock show 😁 (all joking aside; they look like a nice cattle breed ❤) Thank you for sharing😊
Guernsey's are my favorite dairy cows. ❤❤ "Golden" Guernsey milk, cheese and ice cream are my favorites!❤❤ (I am particularly fond of the red/white variety of coat) Thank you for featuring my favorite dairy cow. 😊
Thank you for sharing. 👍😊 The American Angus Association (St. Joseph, Missouri) has been very effective in promoting Black Angus Cattle and BA meat. My family had Black Angus for many years on our farm. The bulls were good on-site for our Holstein herd as well as, later on, for for producing purebred Black Angus for the meat market. Sadly, after grandpa passed away, nobody else wanted to take over the (admittedly very small) farm.
Galician Blond (Rubia Gallega) Cattle and Blonde d'Aquitaine cattle look very similar. Not surprising since Galicia Spain and Aquitaine France are geographically very close. Thank you for sharing 😊
Pretty cattle with the red and white coloring. ❤Thank you for sharing. 👍😊 I like to see cattle with their horns; but I understand why most dairy farmers poll those with horns
