I post music videos purely for entertainment purposes and as a way of music fans sampling a particular artists work. Credit goes not to me, but to the musicians, vocalists and artists involved in such products.
You can't leave comments under the Dragon Ball video, so I'll leave a comment here. That Mandarin dubbing is called "辽艺国语 Liaoyi Guoyu" in China. Episodes 1-52 were released on VCD, and episodes 53-75 were broadcast on the WEB. Because it was a long time ago, no one recorded it at the time. The latter 76-153 were found by funs from the TV station's Betacam.
I remember that ten years ago, many people were sad that the 76-153 episodes were not available in Mandarin, but fortunately it did not disappear in the end. I'm curious about the version broadcast in South Africa, are all the episodes broadcast?
@@jiachunyuan8742 thanks for the info, and yes I was aware the first 52 episodes were more common. I thought original Dragon Ball was introduced to China in two batches of 76-77 episodes though? I read somewhere they were likely aired in China between 1998 and 2000.
I'm interested in the South African airing too, although sadly I haven't heard reports from fans who seen this broadcast (which was on Startimes Kungfu channel). Later promos featured Funimation's dub though, so I suspect they switched over at some point
@@mikefromirelandYes, it was introduced in two batches. A long time ago, episodes 1-75 were briefly available on streaming media. I think the South African promo video might have been edited using pirated videos from the Internet. It's possible that they didn't notice that the audio track was Chinese dub.
This is what I was able to transcribe The whole world's gone crazy, have we all gone insane? Thinking it's normal, this killing game. The lines have been drawn again, can there be no way back? From the killing in Palestine the dead in Iraq. I'm not giving up, I'm not giving in. Let there be reason, and not the end. Begin again You see it on the TV, poisoning the mind. An eye for an eye, my friend, just makes the whole world go blind. Piracy and murder, blood at every door. Man against his brother, a tyrannic system. I'm not giving up, I'm not giving in. Let there be reason, and not the end. Begin again There's never gonna be enough blood. There's money in it somewhere, of that you can be sure. But those who hold the coffers, insist that there's no cure. From the war to end all wars, atomic disarm from the sphere. We offer up these young men, but their mothers won't forgive. You're not giving up, I'm not giving in. Let there be reason, and not the end. I'm not giving up, I'm not giving in. Let there be reason, and not the end. Bggin again There's never gonna be enough blood. There's never gonna be enough blood. There's never gonna be enough blood.

Lyrics It's been ten long years since the boy went singing To his true love's door Crying Oh my true love, let me in Ten long years or more Down she comes with her falling hair Comes to let him in Comes to show him a secret light, burning You're the only one for me You're the only one for me And you'll always be The only one for me Now the boy walks in stony silence His hollow footsteps ring Along the streets where he once went spinning Loving everything Now the footprints of crows and sparrows Gather 'round his eyes Now the weight of the world has cut him Down to size You're the only one for me You're the only one for me And you'll always be The only one for me It's been ten long years since the boy went singing To his true love's door Crying Oh my true love, Let me in Ten long years or more
He's my dad's uncle istg I honestly swear on my life I live in Ireland, Kildare and my dad is J____ MacCarthy and I am E_____ MacCarthy Sorry I feel like I shouldn't reveal names but my dad's dad is Rory MacCarthy
My great great grandfather emigrated to USA as a 14 year old during the tyranny of famine and penal laws but he came back to Ireland with his family and money and bought up land and opened a pub called the cotton ball in Mayfield he fought in American civil war on Yankees side . My great grandmother was born in America and I'm born and reared in Birmingham England oh how the wild geese have moved around . Cork city always my other home . God is good let's not forget our faith in Christ was always our strength through it all
Let nobody of Irish heritage disparage America. In that dark time of, and immediately after, the Famine, America took in ours when the alternative was death by hunger, not only the Famine but the opportunity taken by absentee landlords for clearances.
Jimmy is a genius, his music is timeless, best show I ever seen was Jimmy at Opera House Cork 1999, it was a standing ovation , was really incredible performance 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏
Great song. Astonishing how it has so few views and mine being the only comment🤷♂️. I remember around 2010 hearing him singing this live on the radio, that’s when I took great interest in Jimmy McCarthy
I love the lyrics of Jimmy MacCarthy. One of our most gifted writers. He should be more celebrated but isn't. Fortunately many great singers have done wonderful rendering of his songs.
15 years... on her own... how did they survive a totally different world. We should be on our knees thanking them for all they did for the ones at home. Scraping a few dollars to send home with a letter if they could write most pretending that things were great. And the homesickness ... bless them all. 😢❤
Ah darlin you have romanticised this certainly beyond reality. Annie Moore was 17 not 15, her parents booked underage fare for her, she followed the rest of the family within a year of them going and tragically she married a bakers boy and became obese, had a number of children ending up dead by 50 being brought out of an upstairs window unable to be brought out any other way from their house to be buried never having left the impoverished lower East side Manhattan
Even if she was 17 and her two younger brothers were with her can you imagine what it was like for them???? Nothing to romanticise about there??? It’s belittling them to say so… not just Irish emigrants all emigrants leaving poverty stricken lives to try to better themselves in the USA …bless the USA 😢
Moore arrived at Ellis Island from County Cork, Ireland, aboard the Guion Line steamship Nevada on January 1, 1892. Her brothers, Anthony and Philip, who journeyed with her, had just turned 15 and 12, respectively.[2][4] As the first person to pass inspection at the newly opened facility, she was presented with an American $10 gold piece from an American official.[4]
My first trip to Ireland, March-April 1992, and I came home with the albums of Christy Moore & Jimmy MacCarthy……a vey happy man with my new discoveries….🙏☘️🎶🎭
