Welcome to my small corner in the world! For the last five years this has been zone 10a here on the island in Central Florida, this used to be zone 9b. Because of the extreme heat and long Summers, most vegetables don't grow here or have a very short growing season. So a lot of what I'm growing are fruit trees, there are so many varieties that can live in this climate zone. I'm working with very limited space and wanted to fit as much in as possible. I took some time picking out specific varieties of every fruit tree I've planted because I don't have room for an orchard of trees. Now that all my trees are planted I've been coming back and filling in the spaces with smaller plants like Pineapples or making small vegetable gardens in areas with different lightening conditions which will allow me to plant a wider variety of vegetables.
