There are a couple of things you didn't comment on, or maybe I missed them. The charging handle and mag release can be set up for left and right-handed shooters. Also, the drop-in lets you use either Ruger SR series, Security 9 mags, or common Glock mags.
@@pitcherthis6483 Thanks to JT a Glock or Ruger pistol is longer an option so I’d be thrilled to get a Canik or Beretta 92 magazine adapter. Select Shooting Supplies (Canada) has one for the Canik but it only fits the Ruger factory stock.
Are the QD cups anti rotational ? I had these Maglula qd cups years ago and they were not anti rotational. It was a PIA, the sling would get all twisted up and tangled. Just wondering if they had changed this.

As for lumens, Torque Test Channel did a scientific test with a lumens meter and found its output was about 960 which is actually very good especially against other models tested. It was the only light rated as 10 since it was the only light that had no damage when dropped repeated times from different heights. Dewalts specs show 500/1000
Pretty good video, I appreciate this. I've got an FX Dreamline bullpup and the stock has nothing. I'd like to fit a QD mount into it somehow and it's looking like I'm gonna have to break out the drill. So this gave me an idea, it's looking like I'll have to drill out each side leaving some meat on the inside to be able to fit one of these. Not ideal but it should be fun. I can't think of a better way. But what you're saying is Type 1 comes with the bolts and the Type 2 is threaded which means you can use one of each per stock to have ambidexterity. Think this is the route I should take then

Just ordered a PCC and was wondering, is the Magpul stock considered as a pistol style grip? It looks kind of in between. Reason I ask is because I live in one of those assault ban states.
I live in Canada, so don't take what I say as Gospel. But, I'm pretty sure you're good. Ruger website has a "State Compliant" version. If you ordered it online, the retailer shouldn't send it to you , unless it's legal in your state to own.
@@pitcherthis6483I bought the version with the m-lok rail, was planning on swapping the the stock half to the magpul stock while keeping the m-lok rail. I called magpul and they said they aren’t sure, but it’s not meant to be a pistol grip. 🤷♂️
Thanks for such a helpful video, Magpul should link it in their website. This has always been one of the most frustrating issues with Magpul stocks. Now only if they made a version 2.0 with limited rotation.
