Subtitles may improve if you support the official release.... just saying... i keep seeing reactors with shit subtitles and i can't help but think that the people making money or trying to make money off these IP should at least bother supporting the official releases so that those of us who don't get paid to enjoy them(and for those using the IP to make money) , don't have them suddenly canceled due to numbers not reflecting how much interest there actually is The age of torrenting anime is part of how Bleach got canceled the first time.... I do however enjoy the attention you pay, Bleach is show a lot of reactors miss the details and nuance of and tend to walk away from with a glazed eye and forced smile, not so fun to watch as someone as invested seeming as you, it must be said.
@@craigime kinda hard to compare 2005 translations when there were like 5 dudes with more passion then time or education translating ALL the anime coming out to today where there are a ton of educated and passionate people with much more tools at their disposal then back in 2005, biggest problem at this point is asshole localizers trying to make everything as PC and soulless as possible… and you can get that with fansubs just as much or oven more, and the old fan subs weren’t ‘better’ one or two per series would and the other 20 would be garbage with missing or gibberish lines….. Bottom line is anime costs money to make, and if they don’t make money they won’t make the anime, and it’s the least someone profiting off their hard work can do to watch the purchased blu-ray or payed for streaming service.
It never fails. You start to get emotionally involved in a turn in the story and then the music just pushes you over the edge. (And, to be honest, your sensitivity is rather endearing). Once again the anime throws quite a bit of information at you in a very short span and you handled it quite well, despite being tired. But who is "Albert?" At this rate you'll have a break of at least a month between finishing your reactions to Cour 2 and the premier of Cour 3.
The reason why nanana attack(you didn't show yhe the scene) ans pepe love attack not working on byakuya is because the oken clothing protecting him and not because he is far stronger than them.
[Tidbits & Clarifications][Ep.10] - The concept of Zombie Toshiro is very fascinating, Toshiro is not only the youngest captain but he's also the most pure-hearted and honorable. Here we get to see what what a more ruthless Toshiro looks like. He's concise, intentful, and creative, like how he uses the ice as an extension of his body to make a knee blade or even immediately seal his wounds the moment they occur. - We get slight character growth on Yumichika here, we know that he doesn't want to show anyone in squad 11 his real ability because he thinks they'll no longer accept him as a real squad 11 warrior, yet despite that he was ready to use his real shikai the moment Ikkaku was about to really die (This is very different compared to when Ikkaku was Fighting Edrad and Yumichika simply called for a funeral instead helping) - In the Manga version of these events Byakuya fights against the 3 Sternritter never happened, we only cut to them all being defeated. From what we understand we can expect tons of original and extended fights in the next 2 cours. - We learned in Kubo's fanclub Klub Outside that Byakuya wasn't affected by the love ability because he's wearing clothing from the Zero Squad which has special protective capabilities. - Pepe uses cupid symbolism yet the idea overall is supposed to be a perversion of love, one that is vile and nasty, which is why his Volstanding looks repulsive. [Sidenote, Pepe was the one controlling Jidanbo, (The Giant who Protects the Wall) to attack the research and development division when Ichigo was on the phone last season.] [Reposted]
Also the fact that yumichika used kido might be an implication that ikkaku knows about his zanpaktou and he and zaraki doesn't look down on him for that. I mean we don't know what happened to the soul reaper characters inbetween the aftermath of the fake karakura town arc and tybw arc
[Tidbits & Clarifications][Ep.9][Lotta reading for those interested] - Comedic scenes revolving around Orihime's attire were removed. It expresses that Urahara made the outfits and Orihime wore it to impress Ichigo, but naturally Ichigo wasn't properly aware. - Bambi wasn't dead when we last saw her, she was defeated by Komamura. She would have been collected by Uryu and executed but the Bambi's (Quincy Girls) showed up and that's when she was pleading for them not to do something and we see now that this is what Giselle was planning to do. This means that Giselle Killed Bambi. - The scene with Yumichika covering his nose was purposely re-recorded for Western audiences. In the Manga and in the Japanese episode Yumichika is actually saying to Giselle: " You're a man, aren't you. You may think you have concealed it but frankly, you stink of semen" (This was likely changed for Western audiences because of social stances on the matter) - Many forget that the Shiba family was or rather are by blood one of the 5 Major Noble Families. The fact that they have a canon capable of reaching the Soul Palace says a lot and brings up some interesting questions. (Plus Imagine how strong Kukaku fire must be if she has enough energy to set off that canon) - Mayuri finding dead Arrancar corpses in Szayelapporos lab makes sense when you know additional information we learned in light novels. In his Human life Szayel (Pink Haired Espada) and his brother Ylfordt worked for a great nation and Szayel was a Human Alchemist, he basically did questionable Human experimentation. - Many people miss it but Giselle and her awful treatment towards Bambi is supposed to mimic how Mayuri was first introduced. He used Nemu as a tool and was wickedly violent and sadistic. By using Giselle/Bambietta as a parallel it shows us in part how Mayuri has grown since then. (Though Mayuri still isn't that good of a person but certainly better) - Giselle ability is to "Zombify" which is sometimes misunderstood because people hear Zombie and rightfully assume it's for things already dead. Here it's not the exact same, her Zombification practically allows her to control people and they become her puppets so she can zombify the Dead and the Living. [Reposted]
But also, Captain Hitsugaya doesn't have any opportunity to change his clothes between now and then, so in terms of time in the story, it's not that far off.

In the manga Yumi smells the stank of nut on Giselle, but how does he know what that smells like? Does he look for crusty socks and give them a sniff? sounds like a freaky ass rabbit hole lol

Yes, but also not really it seems that Gigi dosent considers herself as female but the femenine body is part of how her powers work in order too seem like a weak target thats why in both the manga and anime she gets mad that yumichika figures out and calls her out, the others think that she identifies as female
It's clear that Giselle presents as female, and quite convincingly. What isn't made clear are Sternritter Z's motives for hiding their biological sex. What is clear (or at least heavily implied) is Giselle's sadistic disregard for "consent" and enthusiasm for dominating others.
Maybe he's related to the guy who wrote somehow palpatine returned. Jokes aside I think he watched the censored version which doesn't explain how yumichika figured Giselle out.

"Giselle is a guy" this is Kubo's answer to a fan who asked if giselle is a girl. Also you watched the censored version. In the uncensored version yumichika says Giselle smells like sea men after saying "you're a man aren't you?" and even the uncensored version had a line censored from the manga which is Giselle saying "made me so 💦" when talking about how bambis face looked I'm assuming after Giselle killed her or maybe during the process but yumichika makes a correction by saying "don't you mean hard". They cut an important scene in episode 22 focusing on ichigo and orihime which disappointed even Kubo. Bleach isn't ending anytime soon. There's 2 more parts of tybw & part 3 comes out in Oct 5. The light novels will most likely be adapted as well there's also the possibility of bleach getting a remake without all the mistakes made in the og anime and finally Kubo might continue the manga with a sequel series.
Have you seen any official confirmation on the October 5 premier date? 🤞 DBZimran speculated that was the date but I haven't seen it confirmed anywhere.
@@megalictis9002 I think it was on the tybw anime website, I just checked and it wasn't there but after the trailer came out someone did post a screenshot from the website that said it'll come out in Oct 5 sat. My guess is Pierrot made a mistake and they removed the release date from the website but I don't think they're gonna change it instead they might reveal it in a new trailer next month.
Ever since reading the chapter where Ikkaku and Yumichika fight Gigi and Bambi I've always thought it was weird and slightly out of character that Yumichika openly used Kido around Ikkaku considering he only used his kido based zanpakuto when the enemy literally made it impossible for people outside to see.

Disney. Also after looking through my copy of the Manga from Viz they censored it too. All he says is "I can tell you're a man from your smell" Although I get that direct translations have it uncensored.
Nah they actually have two different japanese dub scenes where this censor version he clearly says "ur a man aren't u?" And the uncensored version of yumichika says something like "U stink like a rotten semen" idk about en dub version tho
So there are 2 diologue changes, and it's mostly regional. Yumichika mentioned that one of the reasons he knew Gigi was a guy was because Gigi smelled like semen. That's why Yumichika is covering his nose in that scene. The other is when Gigi says I'm excited the original line was "I'm wet," and Yumichika answers, "Don't you mean hard." There is another cut scene in the episode, but this one was cut due to being a bit too fanservice. Before Yourichi shows up, Chad tries to get Ichigo to complement Orihime's outfit, and he gets really embarrassed. The way he reacts ends up getting Orihime embarrassed, too, and she reveals that Urahara duped her into wearing a revealing outfit to woo Ichigo. That is when Yourichi shows up a berate Ichigo for not complementing Orihime. The thing is that Yourichi shows up by sliding her arm through Orihime's cleavage, and that was deemed too much by the tv station.
Part one’s episode 1 has a special song and ending visual recapping the entire series up to that point. Episode 7 uses the regular part one ending song, but a new visual as a tribute to the original captains. Part two has just one opening and one ending to watch.
