Hi. Lovely bike. I see you've brought your XR650R further a field than Ireland. What did you think of it for a long trip? I'm considering picking one up and doing Spanish TET next year. Wondering about the lack of cush drive, alu subframe and parts availability/expense. Thanks, Darren
Hi Darren. Thanks 👍 I'm actually rebuilding my Honda 😁 and preparing it for even longer future journeys. Next year I'm planning to go to Spain as well. With some upgrades and few changes, I think this bike is just perfect for long adventures. I purchased exell wheel with cush drive. I'm happy that I've decided to rebuild it now because parts are becoming more and more expensive and harder to get... Have a look at my Instagram @enduro_ventures to see the progress 😁 Cheers!
@@enduro-ventures9915why do you need cush drive? I'm not been smart either just curious as I've never had problems in the past with other xrs but maybe you can shed some light as to why it's good idea or not? I've just got a XR650R that I'm seetting up for off road adventure trips bit like your bike setup. Thanks
