Don’t know about the Tritons but on the pajero the thermistor in the MAF is only used by the EGR. There’s a second temp sensor on the manifold that is used for all the other stuff.
A custom tune IS the only way to go all the other stuff is BS. do not change maf sensor cable that is another bottle of snake oil. Custom tune catch can thats it.. Have fun cleaning up inlet manifold & valves there is only 1 sure way & that is to pull it off & manually clean them. Walnut blasting does a good job.
I really wish people would stop complaining that the parking brake is electronic and not manual. It's not an "emergency" brake, it's not for drifting, it's for parking.
Hello. Thx for your usefull videos. What do u think of the 2.0 L EJ20 turbo H4 177 hp engine available in the sg5 forester here in europe? ( with the 4EAT )
I have a subaru b4 legacy 2001 with a ej20 engine twin turbo. My primary turbo is making a strange noice as if it stack or something. After I removed the intercooler I found engine oil in it. Kindly assist me these two problems engine oil in the intercooler and strange noice from primary turbo.
Oh my ... Thank you for this, last weekend I got me one of my heros which is a Hawek Eye WRX ! The thing is awesome except for a a boost leak somewhere, I will start here.
Hi I have a Mitsubishi l200 63plate keeps cutting out replaced fuel filter and housing, suction control valve starts straight back up then cuts out would really appreciate any ideas that may help Thank you🇬🇧
I ran a 1998 Subaru legacy outback WAGON in stage rally and ice racing. I couldn’t afford rally specific stuff back then I just used KYB shocks and Subaru forester springs with a set of lift picks for the top of the shocks. $400 per season and I had brand new stuff all around lol.
Hi I had the the dpf light come on as a still motion after my intercooler turbo charger pipe blew off and I stuck it back on and it was still in still motion. But I've put some synthetic oil in the car and now I have the dpf light flashing the engine light is on and the car light with the slippery road effect light is on any ideas
1:13 you are not telling people the truth. When the head is torque down on the block. The cylinders supported by the head. Honda K engines are open deck blocks and everybody know these are strong engines.
My 2011 Forester started having this problem at around 65k miles. The exact same spot shown in this video. I’ve decided not to fix it and trade it off with another brand. Never coming back.
Not modern diesels, mainly VW and Subaru taking short cuts (cheap skates) by adding extra diesel on the exhausts stroke rather than fitting a separate injector in the DPF itself, excessive diesel in the cylinder bypasses the rings and ends up in the sump contaminating the oil.
Stay away from Subaru diesel plz .. I’ve got. 5 year old car with 200k plus on in all high daily use .. and still having issue with the dpf lights flashing !! Nothing work cars are not made to be diesels simple
Have brought a catch can for my Ute with 27,000 on it. Was going to install it and EGR plate but have read not to do ANY EGR delete with it has a dpf. What’s your thoughts on this? Ide rather get rid of EGR crap if I can
The amount of condensation it collects is no joke. I found out by changing the ignition coils, I think i will check this thing every time i do a rear diff fluid change (15k miles)
Does NOT help on turbo ECU controlled engines because it can and WILL compensate for the air restriction by increasing turbo boost, UNLESS well, you got it really clogged edit: omg australian accent, i can't heea 🤣 it
I’ve owned a 2010 outback for about 2 and a half years bought at 180000 km. I’m at about 220000 ks now. Had issue arise with the dpf and spoke to some Subaru specialists and in the end I decided just to delete it and get it remapped. I’ve done another 1000 ks since and now problems. If anything I’ve felt that the turbo kicks a bit harder. and better fuel economy
Does MCA produce tarmac rally suspension for a Mk7(.5) Fiesta ST, and if so, are they any more affordable/reasonable than the 'gold standard' Reiger R2/Rally 4 setup??
