Korean cars are fine. Don't take Malaysians too seriously when it comes to cars. To the majority of Malaysians, anything that's not a Toyota or a Honda will break down frequently, hard and expensive to maintain/repair, and hard to find spare parts. I have owned 4 Korean cars in my lifetime, all of them I bought second hand. I assure you from personal experience, Korean cars are neither hard nor expensive to maintain, and no, they don't break down frequently, and spare parts are just as readily available at any shop as parts for Honda or Toyota and priced similarly to those two Japanese brands.
buying 2nd hand car made in korea or europe much cheap in Malaysia, but make sure you choose the right and the best. because cost of repair korea or europe car much high in Malaysia. That's why it much cheaper compared to japanese car.
Your dog is so cute. It's sad your dog having a tough time, and since Malaysia is predominantly muslim country, most Airbnb doesn't allowed pets, the best way is to call the airbnb and queries.
I hiked Penang Hill twice, its so nice when reached at the top..the view was amazing and i enjoyed eating ice shaved from the stall there 😂 treats for myself
Hyundai ATOS? Its hard to maintain it and it always breakdown easily. Spare parts hard to find. Please buy 1st model Perodua Myvi. Easily get around RM 10k, cheap to maintain and of course spare parts are every where. And that Myvi save fuels..!
HIII Dave haha I wish I didn't know that, we already got the car now for 1 month and have driver around the 2xxxkm already so sofar so good. Haha let's hope that we are lucky with it. (Only need to last for 6 months ) 😅

Great question, it's already started. But we are quite slow with our adventure (staying long in the same place ) so I can take a bit of time before it will be live 🙏🙏
Welcome to Malaysia 🇲🇾 hope both of you enjoy with our multicultural diversity because Malaysia truly Asia enjoy with our foodie heaven and our hospitality please explore our country from perlis to sabah
yeee that is true kenny, We had a schock with it and thought we we`re being scammed at first So we saw a car online and went out to check it at the dealer but the car was 2K more than online and we didnt expected that (Haha thought we were getting scammed there)) butt it turned out to be true with all the additionol fees etc
Not sure if you know but the average car to rent is about the 2k for a month and some people also have pets like us and a lot of rental company don't like that. And used cars are a lot cheaper if they last then a rental car. Also less Hassel
That looks like a decent car also new for 22k unfortunately we are only in Malaysia for 6 months so we got ourself a Used Car :D But thanks for the tip !!!
If plan to adventure the across country, it's a good idea to rent, or buy if you stay long term. Either a car or a bike. There are lots of places to visit scattered across the country. Train or Grab will not do justice. You will be lock down to the big cities only. If you are a content creator, get a car or a bike. Too many content from the same location. Need new content, need to venture out. And get a Touch N Go card. Very very important. There was a youtuber got stuck at the tol because have no card.
Hiii, Yee that is totally true man. It Also happend to us that we we`re stuck on the toll road because our Touch N Go card didnt had enough on it (was our first day on a rental car) Thankgod there were some nice locals who gave me there card at the toll and helped us 🙏🙏
need a car here in Malaysia, even my household we have 3 cars..very car dependant country but with a car even a bike you have freedom to go anywhere you want
@@ahwai82 yee a car is really necessary here. We did try the bikes but we felt very unsafe here in the heavy car traffic. (We are used to driving bikes in Asia but Malaysia was a bit different)
@@HDtravelstories riding bike here in Malaysia not exactly safe, people drive and ride like maniac here. Im from Penang i know because Penang probably have the most aggressive driver in whole country. To survive driving here dont be afraid be a little rude not to extend cut people off but a little its fine as most people would give you a honk and move on. Just be more alert with bikes, they can be anywhere anytime even from place you dont expect them to be. But most of the time drive like a normal person its fine. Have fun and enjoy the cheap fuel here.
Could you post the email of the AQ place? I would first fly to KUL and then take a second flight to Penang and would like to know if my dogs could quarantine in Penang or if they’d need to do it in KL considering that’d be their first flight into Malaysia.
Hii Wendy, Yes that is possible. We came in from pedang besar and got an private escort from there and then we put our dog in Penang for the quarantine because we were staying there as well. Also you need to mail the aqs for an approval to put your dog in quarantine in Penang!
You can find the phone number online (not sure if I can put in out here). But if you look for animal quarantine station Penang you can find a phone number and text them through WhatsApp!
Welcome to malaysia. A lot of places here are not pet friendly. However, u can bring your doggy to pet friendly cafes or Chinese hawker centres. There’s a dog park at desa park city. Many dog owners bring them there. So avoid going to Muslim restaurants and shopping centres where pets are not allowed.
Hiii Andrew, Thanks for the advice, thanks to Google and some awesome tip we have found some Places where we can chill and relax with our furry friend. Hope you like our vlog, we have more up and coming😁😁
It will be useful to know if the scooter is on your name, rental etc? Hence what papers you have to show at the crossing border in Vietnam and Laos regarding the vehicle and immigration entry to Laos. Cost and requirements. Thanks!!!!
Good morning, Those are good question. If you buy a scooter in Vietnam it stay on the name of the original owner. BUT you need to have a buyer's agreement so you can prove that you legally bought it. Also we have crossed 5 bordes by land and no one looked at any documents. I will make a video about at in the next 1/2 weeks.
@@HDtravelstories Thanks for your response. You have said: '' IF YOU BUY...'' I guess if one buys a vehicle can do transfer of ownership and or not but I presume the ''buyer's agreement'' is the DEED OF SALE . Which is one of the documents one needs for ownership transfer. Then u have said having crossing 5 borders and no one had asked you any ''papers'' Which I am surprise but not so haha. The question which borders and if one will ask which documents one has to have (?) Anyway Thanks again for your time and efforts. Looking forward for your next video.
@@laverdad2022 I have made a video about all the information that is needed for when you are buying a motorbike (like documents bordercrossing inscurance etc) coming out wednesday 19.
