This song is great and it is as if I can feel the hopelessness, destruction, and tragedy of the Final War, as if that part at 0:31 was the last thing for thousands in battlefields and random cities; the gunshots and car alarms in the background just made that feel even better, great work and amazing cover! 👍
The cover art is so well made, Dante visiting the violence circle, the soldiers' picture, and I think i can see the Earthmover in the background? Awesome work
for the intro: aobu_s_chiptune_soundfont.sf2 - Chip Drums gm.sf2 - Electronic drumkit creek_break sample (ultrakill 1-2 actual drum sample used) (120bpm) (those have a bass amplifier (Bass Professor Mk. II) applied to them to get it to be more punchy, the first 2 have +stereo echo beforehand) for the rest: creek_break (again) crot_break sample (ultrakill 3-1 actual drum sample used) (120bpm) bibop_break sample (dont remember if this is in an actual ultrakill track but it might be) (120 bpm too) (these also have BPMK2 applied to them) SGM-V2.sf2 - Breath Noise (???) for some of the louder distant crash sounding sfx (also with BPMK2)
Honestly, rewatching this i think i was too harsh, this is definitely good and deserves more recognition, im adding this to my war without reason remixes playlist.
the thumbnail looks lit I like how it shows the old painting depictions of hell along with the earthmover in the back I also noticed the soldiers overlayed, I'm assuming its supposed to be related to mankind's failed hope
if 7-4 was more than just a benjamin fight this should play this is perfect in every single way for a full-fledged level, i love how it sounds less mechanical and more melancholic nd desperate with the pianos thrown in. this is some gourmet shit, honestly. good job.
