THANK YOU SO MUCH for educating us on the horses. I wish every horse sport would mention their age, breed, pedigree, and accomplishments. I'm very interested in that type of stuff, learning about their backgrounds. After all, the horse is just as much the athlete and partner in riding - if not, more. And it's nice to learn about their relationship with their rider, and how well their partnerships work out. I also appreciate the educational aspects of the riding as they jump and move through the courses. It helps train our eyes to point out certain things the horse and rider are doing. The small shifts and little details that make such a different impact on how their ride goes. This commentary needs to happen WAY more often! Thank you again! 🤍🤍🤍👍
i would so donate to the cause if i knew for sure the finances would strictly go to under income family's children who would love this have the talent to learn with the drive and desire that would be life changing for them and even find their calling in life to continue the legacy in that field of interest. i see it just does so much for everyone involved, from caring for equine in general, the community that pulls together to make it happen and that ranges from property owners to make room for arenas to compete, to jump designers and the links to companies that have the paints and machines to make it all, the truckers to haul it, the workers to assemble it, you name it, then you have those who know how to breed quality ponies or rescue quality ponies and train them, then that takes also property owners willing to host ponies on it and farmers to grow crops that meet the needs of equine food for both grass field grass quality but hay and grain. People have no clue what goes into all of it and it takes $$$$$$$$$. But if many pitch in a few dollars or more , that adds up to making all the difference in these vital and important sports for children. I could go on for a long while listing all there is in equestrian sports or just to care for just one horse or pony. The vet bill over its life span can be insane.
What a waste if data!!! In mý tine of showjumping in SA in the 1970's, it would've been a grave offence 2 retire 4 no other reason except if you're horse was injured !! Bút 2 do 8 obstacles & then retire 4 no reason what-so-ever would've "banned" me from competing 4 @ léást a month. Bút I suppose times have changed & become much more lenient.
Most of them do it just because they are the professional riders just giving their grand prix horses a little jump school in preparation for a bigger class. They just intend to give them a little school on the field and then save them for a bigger class worth more money and ranking.

Watching this competition fron SA where it's bow 9:00. Véry testing course but doable. Just véry glad I'm not riding it, tho my 17hh stallion of +-50 years ago would've thoroughly enjoyed this challenge. Good luck 2 the competitors
WOW! This competition is late starting, the first horse jumps with an hour already gone! Kind of reminds me of a Madonna’s concert, she starts two hours late. Apparently this is the norm for her!
Ms Waldman's voice cuts shrill into the ear. PLEASE, someone get a co-presenter that is as good as Steven Wilde. Your audience watches more of the competition when the commentators voices are pleasant and professionally modulated with no SHOUTING during the commenting. I have been turned off of the FEI competitions bc of the current commentator. Please don't continue this situation where the competition is better when the audio is off. Great venue, great competitors, great grounds crew, equipment and course creation. A great visual show. Thank you, Wellington
Stop calling horses "it"!! Every commentator this season has called them "its" and it's really disappointing to listen to. Thankfully some of the jumper commentators have changed over the past few weeks to using he/him and she/her appropriately for the horse. Horses are our partners and friends. Not "its."

Watching this from SA again!! Commentary soft, but @ least the hearing aid helps. A testing course but interesting & a wonderful venue. Wish I was 50 years younger 2 do showjumping again.
Watching this competition from SA again. Thank 4 upping the volumn of the commentators & having more cameras 2 eliminate the problem I had with last nite's compettition. Still a 21:55 beaut & exquisite venue!! Wish wé had something like this in SA.
Been watching this competition from SA. Beaut horses, exquisite venue, Interesting riding styles, but 2 little niggles. 2 jumps were "hidden" behind the gazebos & the commentators volume was 2 low. This lady is knowledgeable b'ing a rider herself, so 1 appreciates her commentary esp. If u, who r watching, is partially sighted. Thank 4 screening this
