This is the Channel for videos from both Bill Powell Art & Design Studio and CeramX my School of Clay & Glass. These videos will cover many aspects of my pottery methods and techniques including pottery wheel throwing and trimming as well as lessons from my pottery teaching. Basically all things clay and glass inspired.

I've been throwing for few years and your work is one of the best I've ever seen. The angle of the bottom is something impressive, even using a torch, Cheers
@@bpartnd I can hear you and I can turn captions on if I need. Thank you so much for sharing your techniques! I am riveted and will be watching from your first post.

i walked in from the other room thinking "oh, Mad Max is on"... ha! (...Hey Brian May, the jig is up!) awesome pot my friend... i want to throw that big <3
Oh oh oh !!! Thank you so very much for this video. It has been so frustrating to loose almost every pot that I quite trying even though I enjoy crystalline immensely. The instructor we had never gave any information to us other than how's he's always done it with the expectation that you won't get many good pots with no cracks, foot defaults, or ones that can never get off the catcher without cutting it off with a grinder. It was just too much work for so little reward. I'm so excited to start the new semester (although just got an email saying on campus classes will now only be on line again after just having our first in-class semester in the past year and a half - so it throws a kink into the mix). I wish I could jump through the screen snd give you a hug - that's how excited and appreciative I am - sharing your years of experience has renewed my excitement to give Crystalline a go again and I am confident with your advice, I'm going to have many successes to build upon and grow. Your style of presentation was easy to follow, thorough, and visually presented excellently Thank you - thank you ❤️
For those that want to experiment with Crystalline glazes, this is a great video and explained in `great detail`. I still have the Crystalline vase you gave to me Bill, it's always on display here. Thank you. Stay safe and well.
