This is why I say that the grip & release is VERY problematic with The Chopper. Anyone can spin the dice horizontally, but how many people can execute the CORRECT way, ie.. Pitch Control, Flat Landings, Bounce Minimization with a PROPER release? It ain’t easy! Three times harder than Parr/GTC, to execute. 🎲🎲 Married!
Thanks Brah! Yeah the humidity and heat we have going here in Texas just add insult to injury’s but I try my best to make it work. Finger drag got so bad I modified my grip a little to where I’m pushing the dice more with my thumb into the release, seem to help with cutting down on those errant toss in this environment. HiYa DJ Thunder! What I actually discovered is by placing my hand in that kind of pre release extended condition makes it much easier to control the release and spin rate of the Chopper. It also allows me to add more spin by just extending my hand and snapping and pushing the dice into the release. Thanks for watching.

What I don’t want to do is fight for air time with any of the regular shows like Alfredo’s and Old Bay Craps or even Jeff. As long as we’re not stepping on anybody’s toes I’m game for working it in. Hey Sarge,Have you ever tried starting with the dice lined up at your arm pit or from center of your chest while lowering your hand just shy of the felt or actually starting from the felt with your dice? Then you would have more forward motion.Just a thought , because when I'm using the Chopper I kinda line up at my arm pit with my hand hanging low and relaxed just shy of the felt,with my release about rail high,standing more upright instead of being bent down. hiYa Houdini! To answer your question yes I’ve shot the Chopper from the deck and move the dice to various positions in the launch zone. I get good results but I’m always trying to improve and be as comfortable as possible when tossing . I’m constantly experimenting with different delivery methods inorder to get those gentle flat landings that dissipates the dice energy and allows them to trickle, skip hop and jump up to the backwall and die like a two flat tires. You should EASILY have 1,000 Subscribers, Sarge. Your toss is better than 95 % of Dice Tossers on RU-vid!( including Mine). I ALWAYS give credit when it’s due, & you Sir…… have come a loooonnnngggggg way with the Mechanics of your Toss. Continue to experiment & upgrade your Toss, & whatever you do….. DON’T allow “ others” that can’t toss the Chopper CORRECTLY to mess up your toss by giving you useless advice. The very reason that Chopper Practitioners don’t get the Monster rolls is simply because the Toss is TOTALLY unforgiving, & it’s NOT a percentage Toss like Parr,,GTC, Underhand, Ice Tong, Inline Toss, Dice Magic , & other Toss Techniques. EVERY time that you toss the dice, the TOP numbers that you set the dice on are SUPPOSED to show when the dice come off of the backwall. The problem is that IT AINT HAPPENING on Craps table surfaces!
