Sir, is there no audio track for your "girls like you remix (bachata version)" ? i like the vibe of that song/remix. I hope you can upload the track. Really like it. Thanks. 🤟
Of course a DJ has some advantages as mentioned. I think its definitely necessary that there is someone managing the music, doesn't have to be a professional DJ though, but someone who manages and adjusts the playlist during the night at least. I think some of the professional DJs are overdoing it trying to show their DJ skills by blending songs, adding effects and such nonsenes, which I mostly find annoying and not helpful fo dancing. e.g. DJ Husky at Bachaturo was awful. What a party needs is someone who has good knowledge of bachata music and can make a good balanced mix throughout the night. That is more important than someone who is doing a lot of effects and mixing.
That's a great analogy you used! It's like trying to have a conversation where someone responds with something totally off-topic. A good DJ, like you said, knows how to communicate with the crowd and keep that "conversation" flowing smoothly. The problem often comes from promoters and event organizers who don't really understand what a DJ is supposed to do. They see successful events and think, "If I just get a DJ, my event will be great too." But they don’t realize the nuance and context that goes into making a party successful. It’s not just about having a DJ-it’s about having the right DJ who knows how to respond to the crowd and keep the energy alive. Part of it is also having the right crowd. Good post
