The fastest 1960’s car in the world is the 1968 Jensen Interceptor GTR stroker, 8.1L (440 original engine) with 800HP and 0-60 2 seconds and top speed of 204mph. The only manual MK1 refitted with a 440 at the Jensen factory. Not been seen in public for 39 years.
the 67 coronet rt should have been in this list. I had one and outran every car shown in the vid. Broke the 150 mph speedometer when I had it pegged a good one inch past the 150 mark, pecking on the plastic bottom of the gauge. It ran flat 12s through the quarter mile. Stock as a clock. Though it was a special order with the most hopped up 440 that you could get from the factory.

Ratios r good and all but need to be put in perspective. A rc car that weighs 2 lbs but has a hp outp u think of 3 will not beat the same ratio of a super car. It's moronic to just use a hp/wt ratio. For the larger the initial ratio the better. 1000hp/1000lbs is always better than 100hp/100 lbs. U end up fighting energy loss so the more u start eith the better
