Hi bro I’ve been seeing pretty much all of your berserker video to try to improve mine, and I have just one question. Before the question it’s important to know that I am not a veteran WvW player I consider myself a noob so my question is not to question your knowledge. So why do you use greatsword instead of Dagger and Axe? I get why you play with longbow because it is amazing for range and the burn is pretty good. But why not use Longbow with Axe + Dagger instead? The only reason why I am saying this is because, is it not easier to move around with Axe 5 for damage then with Greatsword? With GS I always miss the 2nd ability because you stand still? Like what is your take on this?
Yes the ability from the dagger and axe 5 is better than greatsword 2, the difference you are trading in survivability from the greatsword 3, the damage from greatsword autos, and the arc dividers have more range. It's mostly preference since they both have their pros and cons like dagger and axe being more bursty while greatsword is more survivabilty while keeping some of that burst.
Great vid again, loving when you roaming with a rifle build. I assume you have a legendary armor, but for people like me who don't have it, what stats did you recommand for the two build you use ? If it's not a secret ;) Btw thx for sharing your content with us !
I normally run full berserker gear with scholars, but you can start off with full marauders and scholars. The build is this metabattle.com/wiki/Build:Berserker_-_DPS_Berserker but the longbow replaced by rifle. Also ascended armor has the same stats as legendary armor, legendary armor is basically for a lot of convenience where you can use the same armor without needing to use up materials to change their stats, and infusions.
Changes did nothing to scorched earth since all damage in wvw was gutted, adding the buffs to boonball just makes it so you are less punishable when using it, with also arc dividers. So berserker will be staying meta for melee boonball.
