46 years of practicing Dentistry. I have never seen a more incredible, dramatic change in dental health than when comparing patients that never had fluoride in their water to those that had 7 ppm in their drinking water. Boston did not have fluoride until 1977. My Coast Guard patients from local communities had massive dental problems. Those from fluoridated states had no cavities at all!

Theoretically, sure. In reality interacting with and applying the information, (even if it is just taking notes and answering questions) is a very important part of the learning process. To say nothing of the idea that children could easily go down a path where the "educator" on their phone is spending way too much time focusing on audience capture then actual education. (i.e. people who love saying that they are telling the "truth" and everyone else is lying to them). Also even if they are accessing good information and absorbing it, they could be focusing on subjects that they comfortable with, rather then a well rounded liberal arts education.
