probably waiting for a large enough audience to justify putting the time and money into its production. The arcade games this was based on weren't exactly quarter munchers :P
He was definitely on my short list for winning from early on. Ironically, I had no idea who was actually going to win until close to the end, as I only had the order of entry set in stone. Everything else was just seat of the pants animating :P
@@k1productions87also poor Slash Man, he’s my favorite robot master and sadly, he got disqualified… he forgot the time limit even though he did well the first time
@@SketchieProductions231 I fixed him in the sequel as well. I corrected his ability to work within the field, rather than defaulting to how it was in game.
Yes indeed. There are some complications though. All the custom sprite sheets I had made had gotten lost, and the original Flash file got corrupted. I still have the ones on this file, but I am unable to edit them in any way. So... if there is to be a Rockman Rumble 3, one of two things must happen. Either brand new vector artwork of the characters (wanna upgrade from just sprites) so they will not only be easier to edit and make new moves for, but I can make missing characters like FireMan, MetalMan, SkullMan, GravityMan, KnightMan and so forth. Or... the harder, more costly, but ultimately more impressive option,... 3D ... the second option is less likely, but the option is still on the table should fortunate circumstances arise.
Snakeman took home the money I did my best to dub the entire thing while watching it And Plant Man Really lasted so long, but in the end, Snakeman won the whole thing
@@luisanunes4365 thinking - but not much has gone into it beyond that as of yet. Unfortunately most of the files the original two were made from have been corrupted or lost, including one of the characters I REALLY wanted to have in Rumble 2, and had to leave him out. So, if I go ahead with a #3, I will either create all new vector art of the characters used, or 3D models. The latter will give me greater animation freedom and do cool things like angles and zooms,... but it would be MUCH MUCH more work to create. As if building brand new 2D art wouldn't be a lot of work already.
Oh I would have to nerf his abilities SO hard. It would have to be short targeted AoE's, kinda like how Toadman's acid rain clouds were. Though I could also have similar attacks making an opponent mid-jump crash into the ground super hard, or push rapidly sideways. Lots of cool potential ways to play with it :D
I was cheering the instant Snakeman entered I was rooting for both Plantman and Snakeman but tbh I like Snakeman more This was so fun to watch, I loved it! Also best boi won HELL YEAH!
Snakeman is most definitely one of the more awesome Robot Master designs (regardless of how the in-game version is programmed). MegaMan 3 has the highest number of best Masters overall.
This was from before I had any capability to add any sound to it. Also, this particular Alert screen didn't have a dedicated sound. Only lame stock sounds (that's Nick Meyer for ya)
The plot armor plant man had needs to be studied 😂😂😂 was pretty bummed my favorite (pharaoh man) got washed pretty quickly but im still very happy i found out one of my childhood classics had a sequel ❤
Damn, Napalmman doesn't mess around! Also, glad there was a timer for Slashman being out of bounds. I feel a bit bad for Shademan, since his battle style here thrived on more of a hit-and-run approach. I also noticed that he tried to carry Stoneman away, maybe to drop him on someone? In either case this was so fun to watch! I love it!
Unfortunately, most of the Rumble files got corrupted, and would have to be rebuilt from scratch. So, rather than doing that, any third Rumble would be either all new vector art, or 3D (less likely, but would be friggin awesome, and a number pun)
It's wild that I was able to go onto the Internet today, type "raising shields star trek V" and get this amazing video. I was just hoping for a video of the scene, but this is exactly what I would've wanted. Well done and thank you!
Hehe, oh I've been a space nut ever since I was a little boy. Two movies that captured my little soul and never let go - "The Right Stuff" and "Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home" then years later, Apollo 13 hit me like no other, and remains my absolute favorite movie.
Oh I wish I was able to actually program like that. Heh, nope. I'm just a lowly animator :P Have you had the chance to see the sequel yet? I am much more proud of how that one turned out (plus, without the lame time limit finish LOL)
I'm sorry it took so long. The video was out very quickly, but I dropped the ball getting in contact with you all. Lucky Sebastian was able to message me just yesterday, thank goodness. Hopefully it can get around to the rest of Team Pioneer. I just wish I was able to give Team Mariner a bit more representation.
Oh, he is certainly beatable. If he uses his shield as a weapon, he is left with no weapon energy, leaving him wide open, if one is able to focus damage upon him. All shield-weapon robots inherently have OP defense. Though I could modify it where it ticks down weapon energy over time, so they can't hold their shield up indefinitely, kinda like Gyroman's flight.
There is A LOT of work that will need to be done. Much of the source file had been lost. So to make a new one, I will want to either make brand new vector art, or advance to 3D
You can't really see it because of the unfortunately low video quality. When a Robot Master is knocked down, his energy must reach the next line up before he can recover back to his feet. This is also why Geminiman stays down and the end and just takes the last snake that kills him. He didn't have proper energy to recover.
@@PreRenderedSheep95 I made a blinking indicator on the line which the affected Robot Master's weapon energy must reach before they could revive... but it ended up being far too subtle to see at the crappy resolution I made it in. That was my fault.
@@PreRenderedSheep95 then your eyes are sharper than mine. I knew where and when to look for it, and even then I often couldn't see it in the published video.
