Sorry its a little late, but if you're still interested in the US they run as cheap as 100 dollars per lesson. Those are in small Cessna 152s though. I'm 6 feet tall and its way to cramped in there so I went to the Piper Cherokee which is great! They run at about $150. Hope this helped :)

@Einhander49 Totally agree, every city has it's problems. Just pointing out that the graphics ( which are outstanding I must say, BTW ) in this make LA look like "non-like LA" aka the smog.
