Dear Corentin, thank you so much for this arrangement and for giving the tabs on free. A wonderful song both in the piano version of the original and with the guitar. I`ve just learnt your acoustic version and I feel very happy.
Taking over this town, they should worry But these problems aside, I think I taught you well That we won't run, and we won't run, and we won't run And in the winter night sky, ships are sailing Looking down on these bright blue city lights And they won't wait, and they won't wait, and they won't wait We're here to stay, we're here to stay, we're here to stay Howling ghosts, they reappear In mountains that are stacked with fear But you're a king and I'm a lionheart A lionheart His crown lit up the way as we moved slowly Past the wondering eyes of the ones that were left behind Though far away, though far away, though far away We're still the same, we're still the same, we're still the same Howling ghosts, they reappear In mountains that are stacked with fear But you're a king and I'm a lionheart And in the sea that's painted black Creatures lurk below the deck But you're a king and I'm a lionheart And as the world comes to an end I'll be here to hold your hand 'Cause you're my king and I'm your lionheart A lionheart A lionheart A lionheart A lionheart A lionheart A lionheart A lionheart A lionheart Howling ghosts, they reappear In mountains that are stacked with fear But you're a king and I'm a lionheart And in the sea that's painted black Creatures lurk below the deck But you're a king and I'm a lionheart A lionheart A lionheart A lionheart A lionheart A lionheart A lionheart A lionheart A lionheart
just watched the film again. 35mm. same cinema as 16 years ago. oh boy, does time fly eh. I remember the summer before watching Into The Wild, I did a solo trip in south Italy, and was reading Steppenwold during this train/hitchhiking trip. At the end of the trip, I was happy but felt pretty lonely, and wrote at the end of the book 'happines is better shared'. I was quite moved when months later, at the cinema, Supertramp also writes a similar conclusion in his notebook. Today, once again, this film stirred my guts, and made me smile like back in the time. Those Danish characters were absolute gold. Thanks for this online tutorial
Dear Corentin! Wow! I'm impressed! There're a lot of things you brought together in this wonderful composition! Music and walking (Your music sounds like walking) acoustic guitar with electric guitar and bass, summer, winter... Nice to see where you live 🙂 Such a beautiful composition! Congratulations, Marianne
Wow!!! This is really wonderful. Such a great drive. Yes-walking with a lot of joy. I like your new composition a lot. 👏🎸🎶☀️ All the best for you, Wolfgang
Thank you Wolfang! I'm glad you like it. It's pretty close to what I'd like to achieve when I compose, without ever really getting there... 😅... Have a lovely day. Corentin
Corentin, this was really great! I love the integration of different instruments. I think it is quite an accomplishment to bring together all the parts to this piece and make it work so nicely. Musically it was peaceful and a great way to start my morning! BIll
Très jolie pièce avec des moments doux et nostalgiques et d'autres dynamiques et joyeux comme les souvenirs qui nous viennent lorsque l'on pense à quelqu'un auquel on tient ! Très belle interprétation également ! Bravo à vous deux ! Like 12. Rosa 🌹
Dear Corentin! Congratulations on this very beautiful composition! Excellent interpretation by Estelle👌 It reminds me a bit of a Popsong. Especially I like the main (A) part. It's really a great thema that warms the heart and reaches the listener immidiately. But I also love the development of the whole composition. Very well done! Marianne
Dear Marianne, Your analysis is spot on, as always... Thank you for taking the time to listen and comment, it always gives me great pleasure! Have a lovely weekend! Corentin
Estelle is so talented! You have created a wonderful piece of music and it is so nice that she picked it up. I love that! So much music and so little time. Have a great weekend Corentin, Bill
A wonderful tribute to Kurt Cobain, it seems so senseless that the pressures of fame create such negative forces in performers who reach a degree of notoriety. Thanks for this remembrance and great arrangement for us to enjoy! BIll
Thank you Bill for this beautiful comment. It was while trying to play Nirvana songs by ear that I started playing guitar. Now, it's a real joy for me to try to adapt these songs to classical guitar. I think I'll do a few more... Wishing you a lovely weekend. Corentin
Thank you Marianne, I'm glad you like it 🥰! Actually, there's no bass, I thought I'd put one one, but the guitar sounded low enough to do the bass on its own 😉. Wishing you a lovely weekend! Corentin
Corentin, great job with the video synching, your students are very lucky to have you! Also great techniques in parts, and of course I am partial to the tone of Godin guitars, Bill
