I created the first non-profit of its kind in response to my heart’s desire to help abandoned cats and dogs. I Film Heroes is an advocacy organization focused on capturing real-life heroes that rescue cats and dogs. These films can be compared to Anthony Bourdain in which the viewer gets to experience live action.
The films by I Film Heroes are artistically beautiful and realistic. These footages are raw and unedited to depict real stories. These films are one hour long featuring real heroes who go out of their way to make a difference. These individuals are filmed for 10 to 15 days in which the film crew follows their everyday activities .

This is such a beautiful film. I watched it when you first posted it, but it truly is so special for me now. You can see how passionate my mom was about her job, and how much of an emotional toll it could take- yet she did it 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and loved every second. She is my inspiration, and this film highlights one of many reasons why. Thank you for such a meaningful video, this is how I will always picture her.
The problem with riding against traffic, is that the driver does not have enough time to react. I almost hit somebody on a sharp, curving road, because I could not see them until I came around the curve and they were right in the road coming at me. Luckily because of the speed, I was able to slam on my brakes and they were able to get onto the grass. This is why the law says you must ride with traffic. It is more dangerous to ride against traffic. If you are not on the road, then it should be fine. But if you’re on the edge of the road or the road itself, it’s too dangerous. I know people think that’s the opposite, that you’re safer if you see the traffic coming, but they forget that you’re moving towards the traffic at a good speed. You’re closing the distance between yourself and that vehicle and not allowing that vehicle time to react, if they are going up a hill or around a curve.
My heart goes out to this homeless man who passed away and to his dog who now has to grieve his loss. The gentleman on the bottom of the screen that was telling the story was correct even though it is against the law to ride your bike on the opposite side of the road I still would do it anyway because if you are riding with traffic and traffic is behind you there's more of a chance for someone to hit you whereas if you're facing the traffic and you see a truck coming your direction you have time to get out of the way. I think the leaders who made that decision about the law of not riding on the opposite side of the road did not think this through and made rules that they should not have done because if they didn't say this rule that man would be still alive today.
Still trying to make money off of other people's hardships a sadness you're in the situation you are in negative Karma what goes around comes around you take from others leave them high and dry you will never be successful you keep asking for donations for people and never giving them the donations you let people believe one thing then you do another you have a dark and ugly aura I didn't believe what I was being told I stood behind you I wouldn't believe that you were taking advantage of me the truth is the truth you have a lots of people that don't like you for how you handled me and others
Hi I'm Dan the Dogman I am a point in my rescue where I haven't enough money to continue going out I have two little Chihuahuas that are 4 months old and both have parvo they're 1800 dollars each for their care they are at Town & Country Animal Hospital in Miami Florida these two beautiful little boys just need a basic injection to save them from the Parvovirus but they did not receive their injections therefore I got them while they were extremely ill I don't have enough gasoline to drive up and see them right now but I don't care about that I care about them if you could donate something to Town & Country for little chip and Milo these two little brothers I have so much love to bring their new adoptive family but without the care and donations to help them get through this horrible disease they will certainly Parrish please can you donate a little bit for their care they're under adoptable pets of Miami please I'm begging for help there are so many out there that need our help Please spay and neuter is there programs out there to help you get this done God bless the ones that are able to reach into their wallets and give a few dollars make your donations directly to the animal hospital for chip in Milo

I adapted two very ferral wild cats. They snuggle and sleep on my bed. They do not like strangers, but meow at me all the time. Wild cats are the best.
The intro of the county shelter is such a great depiction of the policies that Best Friends has been lobbying for at every shelter. Dan is a hero. To work with these animals is trauma and heartbreak. We need support in the form of intelligent legislation at the federal and state level. Take the special interest non-profits out of the discussion. And more Dan’s, please.
