As a kid growing up in the 70s we spent many days playing around that golf ball building in charnocks. I believe it's used by the airport as a radar system as it's on the highest ground in that area.
I was born in St Michael's.. I leave there in 75.. I wonder what Jessamine ave and beckles rd looks like. I used to walk to Bay Primary school. There used to be this big windmill behind my house separated by this huge wall. To the left of that wall was a galvanized fence with two big dogs. My friends and I would put sticks under the fence and try to hold them while the dogs would pull like crazy.. 😂 and every time we would play cricket and the ball went over the fence we would climb the fence and take our chance getting that ball back... 😂😂😂.. that ball took time to make man..
I like, next time perhaps have it that actually turn into airport. Perhaps when have to drop someone to airport ..show the procedure in terms of parking snd payment and leaving etc would also be helpful.
watching from london uk enjoying these adventures and seeing the places where i frequent would really appreciate if you would just say where you are for example mention hastings point out the prime ministers office on the left worthing and also welches on the way to oistins there is another welches anyway like your drive throughs regards janet
Lovely i enjoy this video and what i like you dont only give the name of the parish but you also give the name of the district you are entering good job
Thank you. It comes in handy for those who don't know the country or its districts, or those who can't remember what certain parts of the island are called.
Very good video to show the world because some people think people in the carribbean live in trees, while the houses are more beautiful than in the US. No one lives on top of you like sardines
Foul Bay, you have chosen a beautiful location. You deserves an award for choosing that location. No body does that. Extremely beautiful video! I love it
Coverley looks like a movie set to me, one question though, "Does anyone lives in there?" many of those houses looks unoccupied. Only cars parked by the businesses.
Well, The Villages at Coverley is a new community that was built over a decade ago by a developer named Mark Maloney, and it's been expanding ever since. It's like its own tiny little town.
Chalky Mount Primary was closed in 2013 due to structural issues with the building which was subsequently demolished as a result. I suspect land slippage may have had something to do with that. The area to the left shown at around 7:11 is where the school once stood.
My grandparents homeland…. Barbados 🇧🇧 reminds me a lot of Puerto Rico 🇵🇷! Infrastructure on these islands is always a little rundown due to hurricanes 🌀…..
Actually it's getting one now. Road are being repaved. Buildings are getting refurbished. New construction projects are happening. Even new attractions are opening and existing ones are being upgraded. Things are happening despite the hardships.
Love it drive a little slower please love to see the houses 🏘 please drive near the crane I don't mean the crane hotel.Just the crane houses❤thanks 😮😮😮❤❤❤
Thank you for your uploads. My mother is a massive fan and as a family enjoy your drives. If at all possible, we would be extremely grateful if you could drive along Harmony Road, formerly known as Hinsdbury Road as that is where my grandmother lived and mother was raised. Kindest regards and happy new year.
I already did one going through the Crane area (click here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-x8v4yZeiI6w.html), but I'll glad to do another one someday. Maybe a loop around the area this time.
Good afternoon Mr.Drakes thanks for sharing. I enjoy watching your videos of your country. It's good to see another country other than your own. So thanks once again
