This channel is also a resource for instructors looking for videos appropriate for flipped classrooms or supplemental instruction.

This channel's videos are meant to assist students in understanding the awesome but sometimes difficult concepts in medical education. Please don't hesitate to send in requests for additional topics, I will do my best to help!

Hi Doc, thanks for your videos. My question: What is the embryological origin of the psoas major muscle? I cannot find any info about this anywhere! Thanks.

I'm in third year of med school and never bothered with embryology because the basics sounded like jbberish but now I actually feel like I know what's going on. Amazing video!!

There's an error early in the video it's meant to be pulmonary veins bring blood back to the heart not pulmonary arteries

Hello doctor my name is Michael and I'm watching your discussion of your abdominal CT I'm getting ready to take my CPT exam in two weeks, I've been an X-ray tech for 30 years I recognize that this is a non contrast CT, therefore that allows you to pick up the opacification of those small stones on the left side and then the smaller ones that you were explaining on the right side that were missed on the initial reading. Thank you I learned from this

You start with the premise that people are getting smarter. We are getting dumber except for the fact we have technology. And the idea that nuts and seeds- heavy in essential fatty acids wouldn’t help the brain is chronological snobbery and one of the huge reasons american medicine is treating illnesses instead of fostering wellness.
