Alpha version almost had me, but the there was too much blue in her top. Sports bra maybe should’ve been yellow to break up the colors a bit better. Ordered the more classic look when pre-orders went up. According the item page, the statue is supposed to ship soon but I haven’t seen any updates from PCS since I ordered it. I’m predicting delays.
Brandon Roth was excellent as Superman. I think since Zack Snider was trying to do an updated Christopher Reeves type movie, he had Brandon play Superman as Christopher Reeves did. Brandon pulled it off by basically becoming the Cristopher Reeves Superman. We just see an extension of Reeves when we watch Brandon as Superman, but he did an amazing job, and he had what the newer Superman adaptations don't. The virtue and pure goodness of the Christopher Reeves Superman. Brandon comes off as very kind and caring which I see as the very incarnation of the character. A character that is inspirational to an eight year old or a 60 year old. Brandon did a great job.
The BEST Fred krueger figure/ sratue, ive ever seen is the one made by...Mcfarlene toys, movie maniacs range which stands 18" tall, but I'm sure is no longer made, I'm not usually a ELM St merchandice collector, BUT this is a grat sculpt the essence of the character, & so I had to have it & so I bought it, it also has a voice chip saying- "no running in the hall way, & that evil laugh that he has
The Enter bay Robocop(weird name for a film merchandice Company) is also very good, aesthetically speaking BUT with poor build quality, so Ive heard, & costs $500 dollars (which you probably know comes with a remote control to rotate the head, & voice chip plus the jet pack & Robert Burke head seen in R. cop 3. I don't know if this Pop culture version costs the same money or more, you must be a rich man indeed to afford that chronicle collectables 1.1 bust, which I'm SURE is even more money than the Side show Barton version (£750-1000). Pete Weller often looks...uncomfortable in interviews ive seen, & rumours he's fed up with talking about ROBOCOP, He referred a boy fan to the ROBODOC documentry in one Q&A. ive sculpted 5 R. cop figures 2 in bronze, 1/6 scale, also one as he stands proud with a Terminator severed Skull in in one hand,( I must get round to including some broken cables & wires in the neck stump) I used bronze powder & Aluminium powder for the metal skin effect, ironically I'm also sculpting a 1/4 scale version, & one VERY ambitious half scale version 3ft tall all in fibre glass casting.

gotta admittee, in an alternate universe, where the movie gets made, 1 for 1 except Lance Hendrickson is the Terminator the whole time, and Arnold has a couple scenes as a bif beffy detective that gets killed by TLance. Would still be a pretty amazing movie!
This will be my first statue. Superman has always been my favorite and when I saw this in 1/3 scale I really wanted it but, it was so big. Pre Ordered this one.
the problem with this is the cape is billowing as if its i a gentle breeze from the front, yet he is flying upwards at super speed, so the cape should be out behind him.
@@kalelsupes808 yup and it was just announced that the Batman Hush Batcave Edition is $1200 for the Bonus edition and $1k for the regular. Prices are actually more expensive than the 1/3 version. It also has a horrible bonus head, missing all the bats, smaller base and is missing the monitor.
This is exactly what I’ve always been saying. He’s criminally underrated and he was the second best Superman to Christopher … Superman returns was actually pretty good as well
i agree brandon was a great superman 6 foot 4 which is perfect height 4 superman, the movie was just ok but that wasnt brandons fault, he looked great and his acting was spot on
Dude , I totally agree. If I had only one thing to say is that he did look super young g , a touch too young for the part but I quickly forgot that. Actually he’s aged so well and could still play the part today.
I agree with you about the score. I hope there is a release of it and it isn't just a trailer soundtrack. "The planet Krypton" part at the end ruined me completely. He's the only Superman for me. The others have complete validation in their interpretation of the role but are a country mile away from the duality of what he created. Nobody comes close.

I just turned 17 when Christopher Reeve had his accident, The 6 year old in my heart was devastated. His spirit emboldened by the words his wife spoke to him gave us a real Kal-El of Krypton, A real Force for good! A true Superman!
Being fan of him since I was 5 as Superman, following his career and injury. This trailer pulls you in to know more about his life and journey. I really REALLY hope it comes to the UK as would love to see it.
Yeah, when that music kicked in it really got me. I have been scouring the internet for that music and can not find it. It was composed by ILan Eshkerri, it's amazing.

Honestly bloodsport one of my fav movies. I grew up on 80s movies. I bought the autographed Jean Claude and bolo young autographed m. Still have not opened them lol … honestly the portrait on these two are terrible . The pose is amazing but their facial features won’t make me get this. I stopped buying 1/10 only one I have left is the penguin 1/10 from Batman returns from iron studios. Great video sir keep up the great work!!
Yh I have to admit the statue looks great but portraits very bad I see 1/6 JCVD statue the portrait looks better on the 1/6 though the figure version looks amazing though, they might even change the portraits 👍
Shipping prices are pushing a lot of people out of collecting statues. Making the boxes smaller is a no brainer not only for shipping prices but for storing as well.
having an art box makes the statue look more premium , without it , it looks cheap and the experience is dull when opening the box sad to see pcs not giving us art box
The art boxes are pure love in the collecting culture. Yes, some don't mind them but perhaps they could offer limited art box versions for a little extra? I agree that a shipper box is a shipper box... the handling will be the same. I have one video of a wrecked water-damaged box but thankfully zero issues with the statue.
Get rid of the boxes and lower the price. Here's the way to do it. Of course I appreciate the artbox, but I only see it on the day of unboxing and sometimes when I sell some of my statues. That's it.
PCS already has the lowest prices compared to Prime 1, XM, Darkside, ECC etc… and when you order direct from PCS on the early bird specials when the PO goes up usually the shipping is free. This was the plan to keep that possible after Ant took over. And let’s be real if you are a grown ass man crying about an art box you know that you don’t display, that is the definition of being a little bitch. Which is why PCS is awesome for making this video. It’s not a companies fault if you can’t afford their product. Make more money, get a second job, work overtime, do DoorDash on the weekends if 1 to 2k is some crazy amount of money to you. Not everyone is poor.
As long as the box does its job and protects your collectible, I'm happy. Art boxes are pointless though. So flimsy and do nothing to protect your item. XM still has the best packaging of al time. It's functional and makes sense. That's all we can ask for.
