interesting, a fully qualified and time served mechanic myself, its interesting to see how things have changed with technicians working on cars rather than mechanics. a real mechanic does not need all of this to measure and align a car...this is how a lot fo these garages have sub standard techs working on peoples cars. Not saying these guys are, but take away the gadgets now and see where they get. I remember the running jokes about kwik fit fitters and the likes..they would turn up at trade school and all they were doing was fitting toires and exhuasts..how the standards have fallen...i gacve up counting the amount of places in and around glasgow, paisley and ayrshire where cars were gettig ripped off...over here in canada..its even worse..finding a real mechanic is like finding gold...good fully trained a supervised staff in a garage is a critical thing...unlike garbage dealerships
Thanks for the Video clip! Forgive me for the intrusion, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you thought about - Patlarny Vehicle History Principle (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? It is a great one of a kind guide for discovering how to repair your car the simple way without the headache. I've heard some amazing things about it and my m8 finally got amazing results with it.
I just had my car alignment done and the guy used the sensors but they also lift off my car and did the alignment while the vehicle was in the air instead of have on it wheels, what is the difference?
The difference is accurate computer system. It's there way of making a extra buck for the customers complains by making a accusation of mistakes. But a computer can't get fired hey?
