While I agree that Howard is a weird neurotic shut-in, he had pretty much been giving off all the warning signs since he was working in Detroit for WWWW. He talks about how isolated he was in Detroit, that him and Allison weren't getting along so great back then, he would get take out food, go back to his small apartment and just kind of wait for the next radio shift to go back and do his thing. I think this ritual grew even stronger with DC101, it's why he had OCD.
Listening back now I don’t think Jackie was ever funny. I think what was funny of the Jackie era was everyone ripping on Jackie mercilessly then when that gets boring Nancy would call in at the right time and just make a complete fool of herself.
At one point, Howard says Scott’s ex wife left him after going to the gym. It wasn’t Scott’s wife. But the irony is that’s exactly what happened to old JD. His sexy wife started working out hard and left his soft body. 😂
i like riley a lot, i could listen to this for hours. the section where he goes with the shrink is amazing, some woman thought riley was her dead son reborn and he visited her until her death?? that was fascinating i wish we could hear more of that.

The Doctor Laura rant around 3:00:00 is funny to me because my mom used to listen to both. Howard on the way to my babysitter and Dr Laura on the afternoon ride home. I agree with Howard. She is very boring.
