Thank you. Sugar does not reduce acidity. It only adds sweetness. But to actually reduce the acid (increase the ph), you will need something alkaline. Sugar does not reduce acid/increase PH. Baking soda does. Also garlic is alkaline and raises ph, but it can be aggravating to the stomach to some people.
Thank you so much! I love tomato sauce and wanted to use fresh tomatoes from the garden. I have changed my diet so much! Spaghetti was my favorite and it's been a very long time since I've made my sauce. My daughter in law made spaghetti one night, it was store bought, with her additions. It was good. During the night I woke up with the worst heartburn ❤️🔥 I haven't had any since!!! I like to make my own pasta sauce and the time I get all the goodies in it, it's a big pot of sauce. I can my sauce to have year round ❤❤❤ I'm going to give this a try! It's a must if I'm going to enjoy it 😊
@@Justmeandmythoughts55 Thanks for your response, yes, I use a smaller plate these days. Not all filled up and unlike my parents, I don't have to clean my plate, as in eat everything on it! I eat a clean diet mostly raw. lol, I've come a long way from my southern mom and dad's, meat and potatoes diet. Fried in lard of course and bread. My mother loved her bread. I eat very little bread lol 😝 My mother was an awesome cook tho... a little too much gravy 😜🤣🤣😂
@bearcat8817 also limit your drinking liquids before, during or after you eat your stomach needs that acid to digest the food . I would do research on that. Hopefully it will help you. I stopped drinking too much when I eat like water, juices or soda and it helped with the heartburn.

Thanks for posting this! I've been buying Oui yogurts ever since they came out but i just purchased the raspberry chocolate for the first time. The consistency is so different from all of the other ones I've had that i was afraid there was something wrong with it. Happy to see that it's just the way this flavor is and i can now eat it without fear of getting sick. I'm on some pretty rough chemo and with my immune system compromised, i can't afford to chance eating anything spoiled. Thanks again! Btw, i think this flavor is delicious
Thank you!! I have always added sugar to my dishes that are too tart but that made them too sweet sometime, so trying baking soda was fantastic! and youre right... a little goes a loooong way!! 👌
I just picked up this halawa with pistachios today at a Yemeni grocery store in the Bronx; it's so good. I'm gonna go get some pita and feta tomorrow and try it with some friends
Try other grocery stores that you’ve never been too or didn’t look in ya never know you might find Victoria’s if you live in Florida try Publix. Also try those whole food stores anywhere you would never think it would be usually is . At least for me it does. Hope that helps.
