as a music producer & content creator I provide videos in the form of edutainment. With this channel I hope to spread his passion for music & create a community of positive minded people who help each other out.
Tutorials like: "How to make a Yeat type beat" or "Here are 10 free plugins" aren't uncommon topics. When working in his DAW he provides value in the form of ableton live 11 tutorials mainly focusing on Trap & HipHop but other genres are definitely not getting neglected. He loves testing out new plugins & experimenting with analog gear. He is also known from the producer tag "Bruh is that George?"
can you store the click shourcuts and macros on the mouses onboard memory? And not have to use the software. Like to use the mouse in samsung dex, android..

will there be significant performance difference between 14, 16 inches? (same RAM, SSD storage) i do not care about the battery life and fan noise, but only from performance spectrum
I'm glad you don't use samples but kind of overboard on the editing considering it's a basic melody with barely any effort put in along with a few simple FX and retarded overly complicated drums, beat was kinda ruined at the end, all that for a beat ya'll spent 5 mins a piece on then fell asleep lol
@@pullupgeorge no the edit was fye i just mean like you shoulda put more effort in the beat and whole process it felt like the editing took more time than the beat 😅
@@TheNamesRyan oh that’s for sure I mean editing takes a lot more time in general than music the problem is I can’t change how I made the beat. you feel me 😂
btw i just checked this is the website: www.getyarn.io the domain above is false. Yo you can't send plugins brev check this vid for a great beginner plugin: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-v4psbwuklPo.html
@@madarauchiha5433 Oh I’ve looked at this one before but I prefer the scimitar pro i have rn, i have a very unique worklflow and like lots of customization, it completely fits my needs
@@deji6504 i do talk about in the video tho right? been a while since i made that vid. i don’t like many system design features. but it’s personal. In general I’d say don’t scared about this stuff, just try it out, if you don’t like it return. oh & do you have an iPhone?
@@deji6504 I felt exactly the same way but you have an iphone. that already makes it more worth it to get a mac. how good is your current windows machine? or like are there major issues with it
I use a Maxed out 15" MBP from 2013 for on the go production & creative work. I also have a 2014 Mac Mini in my studio. Both are more than 10 years old and doing EVERYTHING better than the windows laptops I spent hundreds upgrading on. I switched from FL to Logic & Pro Tools and can run so much more plugins each session compared to my windows, and latency is almost unnoticeable. When it comes to video editing, Final Cut Pro was a bit confusing but the way Apple optimised it, and exports videos with a breeze. I haven't touched my windows laptops since switching.
I’m anxiously awaiting for them to put the M3 chip in a Mac mini to create a new music production machine. With the Mac mini, you can use any keyboard, track pad, mouse, and monitor that you like. I plan on using all my current Apple stuff and some other monitor which I will mount on the wall w an arm. I’m super open to suggestions on the monitor and the mounting assembly. Once I hear some performance numbers from music production, then I’ll decide whether I’m gonna get the M2 or M3.
Logic in my opinion has the best selection of native plugins, presets and instruments one could ask for. So I want to switch to Logic pro because I think it would best fit my workflow. But unfortunately it is only available for mac, and I don't necessarily want to switch OS. It sucks that until apple makes Logic available for all OS', my only option to get a stable copy of Logic pro is to buy their overpriced laptops to get it. 😭
“stable” is the word hacintosh is not a sustainable option. I completely feel u I’m actually really liking garageband myself atm although im mostly sceptical of DAWS outside of Ableton
Man I needed that video XD I've always been a windows user, but since I've been doing more creator stuff, the mac temptation has been growing. At the same time, the doubt was real, what if I just want a shiny mac because ads have gotten to me, is there really a difference? It's good to hear someone genuinely talk about it, thank you^^
Im considering switching to MBP soon so my question would be how many tracks with heavy orchestral VSTs and effects plugins can you playback before the audio start to distort?
Thanks for the fast reply@@pullupgeorge , the max is gonna be way over my budged, even the Pro is not very budget friendly for me but I am sick and tired of the tiny issues windows has here and there. I just want something that works without giving me much headache. Im doing more orchestral music there, I havent tested myself on my windows machine how much it can handle but its been acting good with the lastest versions
@@pullupgeorge I have a lenovo legion laptop with i7-11th gen, 32ram and 4070. It is doing its job cant complain, but Its starting to show its problems. I was thinking of getting the MBP m3, 32 gb ram and 1tb ssd. Do you think it would be a of a signifficant upgrade?
@@ChromaCat Yeah I think it definitely will. also especially on the battery side of things but I don’t know if that matters to you at all, so for your just computing powers I’d say yes
They'll both be great honestly. The noise & battery will be the biggest difference. The MSI one will run louder and warmer. Also if you're planning on obtaining your software "the creative way" then the MSI is the way to go for sure. Overall you get a smoother experience on mac. For that price point I think you'd be better off with the macbook in most cases. I hope this sheds some light
If you care about battery life, a mac is a nobrainer. Also if you sometimes do low duty things with the laptop in your lap, the mac it is completely cool and silent. It is just more versatile, better keyboard, better screen, build and better all around laptop. The price though, yeah, I know....
@@pullupgeorge Yeah, the only real alternative to a mac today is the Lenovo thinkpad z-series with AMD CPU and graphics. It has decent battery life and stay cool and silent in the lap while doing low duty tasks. But the grafics sucks. I am thinking about trying one out, because I need the 64GB RAM and 2TB ssd that is available for a decent price compared to a Mac with similar spec. I sort of need to run linux for work, and that is more or less only possible with virtualisation on the M3's. But since I want to virtualise a network of servers for testing purposes using virtualisation software only available on linux, I will have to do double layers of virtualisation if I go with a mac. "It works", but it is painful.... Today I have an old intel mac that can run Linux in dual boot, but Linux on M3 is not ready yet, and I doubt it will ever be... So sadly I think I will be leaving the apple world after 15 years.
"if you want to make content then use a mac" - based on an old windows laptop vs a new mac laptop,... Clearly both operating systems can be used to make amazing content by someone capable of making amazing content.
Sorry mr perfect. This is my first computer review video ever and I know I dropped some stitches. I just meant content as in. This rather weak-sounding statement is strongly based on facts tho. Windows laptops are overall very loud and leak this noise into the microphone permanently. On mac you'll get a way smoother video-editing experience just because the program authors can optimize software to run on macs since it's very similar in every mac laptop. Every windows laptop brands have different hardware. It's like android vs iOS kind of thing. No computer scientist here. Only speaking from personal perspective & experiences
I'm quite sure there is I'm just not sure which exact options are out there. Running a "VM" (Virtual Machine) Could allow you to play games like on a windows.
A mac is an odd choice for a gaming laptop, they are really not designed for gaming i.e. they are designed for efficiency and aesthetics at a high price point not to pump out frames per second.
