Skylords Reborn is a fan-made project that revived BattleForge, a multiplayer real-time strategy and collectible card game set in the mythological world of Nyn.
As a Skylord you collect cards from different factions of Nyn and build decks to magically summon spells, creatures and buildings that suit your unique play style. Skylords Reborn is not pay to win or pay to progress, and only dedication and mastery will lead you to victory.
Crush bandit encampments, topple mighty titans and survive the wicked twilight hordes or compete against other Skylords to reign supreme. Embark on a journey, learn the strengths and weaknesses of each card and achieve the unimaginable. A reborn world awaits you.
This map dates back all the way to 2021, and has seen numerous changes and tweaks by multiple map designers since then. We originally set out to turn it into the first official new Campaign Map, going as far as sketching ideas for the loading screen, and do a test recording for the loading screen introduction. After a ton of hiccups in the design process, we ended up scrapping the map as an official campaign map candidate, but many of us found it a waste to discard all the progress that went into designing and balancing the map. The map is an effort of multiple people, and the map team did one last Map Art and Balance overhaul to released it as a Featured Community Map.

That freeze on hit is extremely good, as it not only makes void refund much easier with Shrine of Martyrs, but also great combo with blue Core Dredge, Tempest and other units that deal extra damage to frozen units. Amazing work, can't wait what more cards you have in store in future :)
This Game is so fucking underrated. It is sad that the "newer" audience will never understand the awesomeness of this pearl. I hope you guys can continue the service providing us this great game. @SkylordsReborn Thank you for bringing us joy and taking us back to a time when life and stuff wasn't so complicated.
I loved this game when I played it as Battleforge and was thrilled to hear it was revived as Skylords Reborn - however I hate VR. I'll just play the original instead.
Where we could have been by now in an alternate timeline when the original game was actually handled properly. This is actually a marketable concept. Well done! Happy April Fools everyone!
