"Bringin' it Back to "The Beatles" with Doug and Ben" will include in-depth interviews with celebrities who discuss their bodies of work while including intimate aspects of how they were profoundly impacted by "The Beatles" throughout their lives. Doug Kolk is a professional entertainment broadcaster in Los Angeles. Ben Don Sherwood is an Australian artist/musician who runs the "World's Largest Beatles Facebook Group".....Oh yeah, and their wives are sisters!
Great interview, unfortunately I am not one of those Eagles fans that wants to hear the same old songs…thankfully I saw that Long Road out of Eden tour in 2007 and heard some different songs and it was the last great Eagles concert I saw, and that includes the “History” tour with Glenn and the tour shortly after he died with the new lineup. I am a diehard, lifelong fan and cannot ever sit through “Life’s Been Good” again! I would probably go to a show if they honored TBS and played one of his solo songs or two!
I believe John would still be alive and happy with his family if he stayed with May....Yoko used him anyway for her activism, got her causes publicised...
Why did John leave Julian out of his will? Why did Yoko fight Julian in court? He deserved an equal part. In some states in the US, the children are considered next of kin. Why would either of them think he should be left out?
I believe the Keith Moon story. But, Keith could shut a bar down. I'm surprised his liver, kidneys, pancreas survived that. Yoko Ono must have had him in some kind of strong Trance. I read a really good book about John Lennon it was about 5 to 600 pages long. Talked alot about John's personal life. I forgot the name of it. Anyways, it's possible. And Dream Number 9 is my favorite solo John song.
🌹♥️Timothy Schmit♥️🌹 Is An Extraordinary Musician♥️,Singer♥️ Guitar Player♥️ Song Writer♥️ Timothy Also Continues To Be A Gorgeously Handsome♥️ Manly♥️ Man♥️🌹
Weird that if everyone thought May was good for John that Paul would side with Yoko and play matchmaker. Makes me think that John was right when he accused Paul of sabotaging his songs. What better way to continue the sabotaging by ruining John’s life and career by getting him back with Yoko. Paul is definitely the Walrus. Evil af.
GREAT STORY .LOVE STORIES ABOUT SINGER AND STARS FROM YEARS AGO. IT FASINATES ME.👍💖REST IN PEACE JOHN.THE STORY ON PHIL SPECTER WITH THE GUN AND JOHN SAYING PHIL PHIL DONT SHOOT ME I NEED MY EARS👂👂👂👂👂 👂👂s 😂😂😂😂😂. REST IN PEACE PHIL HOPE YOUR AT PEACE AMEN🙏🕊🕊🕊🕊🦋🦋🦋🦋🌹🌹🌹🌹🌻🌷💐
always loved her/always will. it's just too bad she had to be associated w/ that incident at 'The Smothers Brothers' gig in the Troubador, as she bore no fault for it. still really cute, but the camera was a bit too close.
Big fan of The Police and Sting's solo work, but the real genius of Sting is that he surrounds himself with excellent musicians and allows them to contribute to the crafting of his song ideas.
You can record at its lowest 8 on a 8 track but, many recording studios are 24 tracks 16 track up to 16 separate instruments . I'm sorry to say May Pong ,has it wrong when she states only 8 people can record and having to go into other stufios in order to record the remaining out of 27. In a real mudic studio which I'm assuming May is speaking about there boards are larger than 16 tracks . Also, depending on the producer for the most part its the entire band and the singer / singers always have a track . When recording simultaneously. Mixing consoles yarda, yarda , now each producer is different some will just use a 8 track but, for the most part its either 16 or 24 tracks both are different when pressing . It would take more than one paragraph to explain recording. Loved this interview and love Ms. May Pong . ❤ May this year of the dragon be kind and prosperous to you all .. Peace ✌
Imagine redoing Andy's solo album "XYZ" with Sting on vocals and real drums by Stewart. Those were great songs which required Policification. Too bad Sting would never agree
@A Briggs628.youko probley hypnotize her to say this 😳😳😳😳😴😴😴(YOU ARE NOW IN A DEEP DEEP SLEEP BACK IN 1976) WHEN I SLAP YOUR FACE YOU SHALL BE AWAKE 😂😂😂😂😂😂.
andy does look great for having put up with sting for so long. i knew how great he was as a musician 40 years ago but he's more likeable as a man than i ever knew.
I,v always said yoko controlled John he may of been a man & 1 of the most famous but was still very child like & needed a mother. No wonder with his past. Look what she did 2 Julian when they where 2gether & yes John let her but look what she did on Julian when he passed so cruel. She was jealous of a child before she had Sean & treated him like he was no1 when John died. That is 1 thing I,ll never understand how John let that happen especially after his childhood & feeling rejectec. She controlled everything why he let her I'll never know. Wish he had of stayed with May. She would never of been as famous only for John. She just would of been the 2nd wife but then Sean came. Wish he had of been a stronger man but idolise him ❤✌🙏☘
This kind & caring lady had Zero selfish motives & only cared about trying to make John happy > evidenced by her being responsible for reuniting a father with his son, after Julian had been virtually abandoned due to Yoko's years of manipulating John (Narcissist bullying, alienation of effection etc) into having little to no contact with Julian (Yoko's many dark traits bought out the few John had), if only he'd been able to protect himself from her incredibly powerful dominance over him!
Nice interview with May, I just wanna say that to me Phil Spector is not a "controversial genius" both of his sons have stated that he forced them to simulate s*xual acts with Phil's girlfriend at the time. He was a sick bastard who abused not just his wife but his children too.
This comes on, I Google something online, and it says that John Lennon was taken at this very day. Now I'm crying tears into my hot and sour, chinese take out leftover, bowl of soup. Rest in Peace John Lennon.
an interesting question would be who paid the rent after john went back to yoko. did john feel any feeling about giving her a hand since she obviously lost her job with apple after she went off with him and then was left by him. even though it was a short time they were together, did he assume any financial responsibility for her for a little while until she began to make her own way again. why doensn't someone ask something interesting. john was known to be pretty tight fisted afraid he wealth would on day collapse, little did he know at the time what his music would end up being worth now and exactly how did he end things financially with may. that would have been an interesting question. but who know if she could manage to communicate anything real at all ever with regards to this questiong
I doubt it, he barely looked after his first wife and child financially, I seriously doubt May would have been looked after. One of the reasons Yoko was hesitant to divorce John was she knew she would have been treated the same way as Cynthia, she told one of her friends this.
yoko didn't call 'us'. she called john and he was always glad to hear from her and talk and always hoped to be allowed to go home. but whatever you want to remember is fine you senile old lady.
