David Gilmour and Richard Wright (half of Pink Floyd) and friends create a spectacular performance of this piece from Floyd's 1971 Meddle album. I think you'd really enjoy it.

Both James and his father served in the British Army. So the line " I'm not your son your not my father we're just 2 grown men saying good bye" is what they would say to each other before either were deployed. You know the British keep a stiff upper lip. All proceeds from this song James donates to the British Army.
I was just a teen at the height of Journeys success, such a Steve Perry fan and during his prime years he never ever got the due by the music press at the time even with all their success. Steve Perry as a singer who deserves all the accolades.
