It's help the helth and the mental health act and we should take care of them so they will be happy that there living good and we must take care of their environment and what they eat what they drink and their health
Four years on from this video and the DPT and social workers seconded to the DPT are still not doing anything to help vulnerable service users and actively put people at risk by hiding behind corporate word salad. They do not take note of the evidence are not represented in safeguarding meetings. They do not adhere to the Care Act, are manipulative and regularly ignore patients needs as 'attention seeking behaviour'. I would advise anyone who has a mental health need to never ever ask the Devon Partnership Trust, in the guise of a CMHT, Home treatment team or hospital psych liaison teams for help. They only make matters worse and in our experience, much worse. As for being a in-patient in a psych unit, managed by the DPT, do not be mistaken into thinking you will be cared for and safe; generally you will be treated with contempt and will not be or feel safe at all. This is my opinion based on first hand experience of a family member who I care for. **There are obviously some very good individuals within the Trust who have their eyes open to patient need but they don't seem to last very long and quickly burn out.
They should allow us to join on Busary as the fees to do a podiatry degree is to expensive £6000 pa .Allow foot help practitioners to work with the NHS and this will help to combat shortages of Foot Specialists
yet the mad twitter community will argue this is wrong and then moan when autistic people are sectioned and given antipsychotic drugs - many who are against it are self diagnosed and have a formal diagnosis of BPD so are quite happy to drag down vulnerable groups to achieve their aims
My question is, a doctor has to undergo 5 years of medical school and then a further 5- 9 years in order to become a GP, but a PA just needs to do a 2 year degree and then is qualified enough to see patients in the way a GP can? Please can someone explain if I have it wrong?
it's true, but the PA does already have an undergrad 3 year background in biology/medicine before doing the postgrad 2 years. I believe the PA can't do somethings like prescribe medicines however. A PA isn't intended to replace a GP either, but does some of the same day to day things as one
It’s been such a privilege as an autistic trainer to be involved in this training since the pilot way back in 2020, and I am an approved trainer as an expert by experience in both the Tier 1 and Tier 2 of this Mandatory Training. I cannot recommend this training highly enough!
My name's Dora Moonga from Zambia and i feel my heart is to become a midwife. Looking at my past life midwifery is the pathway i would love to take. Am interested interested in starting as a maternity support worker. Kindly guide me on this pathway. Thank you
This kind of training has been needed for so long! I have worked in the care sector supporting adults who have Autism and learning disability's for eight years. I also have an amazing five year old grandson with autism and learning disability's I'm so excited about this training ! lets get some real education out there!!!
Excellent news! Our website has more information - heeoe.hee.nhs.uk/general_practice/fellowships-primary-care/integrated-care-fellows-development-programme
I hope that the role of very low estrogen in elderly women is addressed. Hormone replacement could help as it does in younger most menopausal women. They’re still women. Doctors forget that
