FOR RU-vid: Everything here is narrated, recorded, edited by me. All content is my own and not reused content. I read the books myself and create videos transforming my reading with editing, ambient sound and imagery to help people sleep. With soothing effects and copyright free images. All videos are my own creation and content.
All readings here are my voice, and not anybody else's content, I edit the videos myself and use copyright free images and add ambient sounds like rain, waves, and more.
I'm currently still in the process of reading through LotR for the first time. Finally, after 20+ years after first watching the movies as a kid. I'm not a reader, but I decided to tackle this book after having finished the first book I ever bought. I was also influenced to buy and read it because I came across uploads of the Phil Dragash reading. I badly wanted to listen to it, but felt like it's cheating if I don't read it for myself first. There were also occasional words that I couldn't audibly make out which bugged my OCD. I should've been finished reading it by now, but I've been lazy and have also been reading other things like the Bible and manga that my brother gifted me. I'm loving to book so far. I'm currently at the part where the fellowship are departing from Lórien on the river. I haven't listened to much of this, but I like the pacing so far.. I've listened to maybe half a dozen chapters of Phil Dragash, and although it's good, the pacing is just too quick for me. I'm slow and need more time to think and visualize what I'm listening to. I often find myself missing sentences with Phil Dragash, because I'm processing a previous sentence.. The sound effects in his also drown him out on occasion.
I love these audiobooks ❤. I was surprised to find this channel as I originally followed you for your cozy gameplays. Your voice definitely is a blessing on bad days. I gotta be honest, I don't listen these to sleep because I enjoy them too much 😁. Instead, I looove putting them on while doing handcrafts like sewing or crocheting. It is also super helpful to hear you talk to train my ear of the English language! I rely way too much on subtitles these days. Thank you for all that you read and play then have the heart to share with us ❤.
I have anxiety for humans😌I dont trust so many humans, because I had been through lot of things which gave me a good insight of how wicked humanity can be ... But I love this story and Im an orphan too
I've been meaning to comment on this for a long time. I'm still surprised at how many times I've listened to this one while going to sleep. I've lost count. It can't be beat. You. Telling the story of Gandalf, Telling the story, of the ring. Wow. Nothing i have found can beat this one. Bravo
🥹😭 New Moon is so triggering for me so I was super hesitant to start it after I finished Twilight. But I got through the hardest part and I’m proud of myself. You’d think I’d be desensitized by now after having read the books and seen the movies a hundred times but it still destroys me.
Beautiful voice my friend im a person who just never gets any good sleep or just no sleep at all and your readings are the only things that help me sleep if i could leave 1,000,000 subs and 1,000,000 likes all by myself i would without hesitation keep up the amazing work my friend you deserve 1,000,000,000 subs honestly anyway love the work and thank you for helping me sleep (subcribed)
Yayyyy! Bloody brilliant , a story time with a narrator that doesnt sound like hes trying to fuck me. Yous all know what i mean. Those weird asmr twats whispering and emohasizing sssss n breath sounds . Weee
I was devastated and skeptical like everyone else since we lost the rain version, but I was asleep by the time Mr. B. was giving Coraline the warning from the mice. It's obviously 90 percent your voice and how you read so thank you!
It's great but there is a large issue with the recording - the entire thing loops back to Tom Bombadil chapter at 10:29:07, so the last 5 hours are useless...
Not useless. All of "Book 1" of Fellowship is in this vid, before the "extra" 5 hours, which was a mistake but can just be considered extra sleeping time. it is just an extra few hours, and not in place of what should be there. The entirety of Book 1 is in this recording.
