1:23 What? How are you trapped? You're ninjas. You see the top left side of the rock. There's a hole. You ninjas could easily jump over that with the princess.
I don't think anyone will understand me when I say how relieved I am I found this gameplay! I've got a story to tell that I don't think anyone will believe. So, for years I've been trying to find out what this game was called based on a single image I had engrained of this game in my mind. A lot of games from PS1, I can remember scenes/snippets from games that I can only describe but will never really know the name of said game. I clearly remember that I saw my father playing this game on our first PS1. I was maybe 4 years old then and am now 24. That image simply consisted of a polygonal woman with jet black hair and some shades of red clothing. She was running like a Roblox character on the side of a high rise. I also remembered fat bald dudes in suits with machine guns who would shoot at her. I distinctly remembered Chinese calligraphy on the neon signs around the camera angles in the backdrops. The excitement I felt right now when I saw the thumbnail of this video was the same excitement I felt when I saw the Kendo Gunshop scene from Resident Evil 2 years after I couldn't remember where I'd seen that scene to begin with! I didn't remember the encounter at first but when the zombies finally break through the glass and kill Kendo it all finally clicked! This is the game I saw on PS1 that I never got the chance to play as a 4 year-old! Just like Fear Effect! Sadly my father became bored of Fear Effect and only played through this first level it seems. He didn't even finish the chapter because I never saw him play past this part. He went back to playing Driver and Resident Evil 2. I didn't get to see him play through this. I'm just glad that after all this time I can finally put a name to the image I had of this game in my mind. After years of searching for "Cyberpunk PS1 Game". Lately all of those searches just turning up Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay. I finally found it! My mind is at ease!
4:22 I'd love to know what that music is called, I can't find it anywhere. Just sounds like ambience but it's so dark and wicked. Great game, so under rated and I didn't even hear about or play it until a couple of years ago. But I'm sort of stuck on the bit after you save Hana with Glas and you're back as Hana and a bloody helicopter shows up, no mater what I do Hana always dies.
These guards always freaked me out in my original playthough because they didn't say anything during their idle animations at all. Something about that was always deeply unsettling to me.
I'm french, and even if my english level is kinda good, I have trouble following without subtitles. I saw you go to the options. I saw you turn on the subtitles. In my mind it was like "Aaaaw ! Thank you man ! You're the coolest one !"
This game on the Saturn with an 8MB ram cartridge and built in memory in the cartridge for the game as Rom, and higher resolution in Saturn, would had been awesome.
I miss this game... and if i remember... there is a cheat for infinite lives here so you don't need to carry healing items or picking up... also... i miss when the enemy is getting their heads sliced off....
He also didn't say this one game was more stylish then every single game released today. He just said "than games released today". I'm sure he's quite aware there are games still being released that have a geat sense of style. Truth is... the vast majority of games released these past 5 years are indeed very anemic in that department. I d rather play new stuff all year long, but there's so few quality games nowadays, i spend most of my time replaying old games from previous gens.
Because back in the day, games had so much more thought put into them unlike today it's replaced with money. And games are turning into films and vice versa, sad.
i remember this fat fuck with his bear...oh god i hated them so much.the first time when i met them the bear got behind me.Goo hit me and i fliend to the bear..the bear hit me and i flied to the Goo.
