Great climbs. Admire the rider's restraint when he saw the two ladies in front of the cafe in the last km. Probably coasted back after the end of the ride to check them out! Geof Haswell Ottawa.
First indoor training run of 2023/2024 season and first use of Roadibex Project. Really liked this training ride up Grappa. Couldn't believe I missed riding virtually in Italy! Will be on Roadibex until I have ridden all the videos. It's snowing 200km north of Ottawa, so a good time to get settled inside. Geof Haswell.
just want to say i been watching bikes videos to ride my spin bike for almost 2 years now and yours are the best by far get to look at some great views instead of some butt in front of me and good thing i was my spin bike and didn't fall off when u hit that car
Another great ride!! What bike, tires and mechs do you use? What gear are you using when you so easily pass others? Thanks for all of your videos!! Huge help to maintain fitness in the winter. I like that you avoid busy roads and the "famous" climbs.
Thank you!! I use a normal road bike with 50/34 at the front gear and 12/30 at the rear... I train a lot and I've a pure climber physique, so I have an edge on uphill 😅 I love exploring new roads e finding beautiful little-known places 😃
Thanks for posting this footage, the climb looks amazingly beautiful. Do you know if it might be possible to ride this road in very early April or would it be closed by snow? Any information appreciated. There's a possibility I may be able to visit the area in late March/early April, riding towards Innsbruck and I'm looking for routes. Thanks!
Hi! Thanks for your subscribe! It's very difficult for this road to be open in April, because it's a secondary route and the snow is not removed by machinery. Usually the road reopens in late May, when the snow melts.
@@roadibex Thanks very much for your reply, that makes sense. I'm working out a schedule for riding from Venice to London and I think I would be in this area maybe March 31 or April 1. So, from what you say, maybe 6 weeks before the snow melts. I had wondered if I could ride most of it and just walk a top section if the snow is light but more likely I'll avoid the Manghen this time and go on main roads to Bolzano. Thanks for your help!
You are clearly an accomplished cyclist. Thank you for sharing your rides. Not everyone wants to use, or can afford to buy, a high priced trainer. Your videos fill the bill for most of the cycling world. Real world videos beat pixel stuff hands down. Keep those videos coming!
Thank you so much for your kind feedback! I ride only for passion... I create videos because in this way it remains a memory of the places I visited. I'm very happy that my channel can help someone in winter training😃 Now I'm taking a break... I hope to restart in february with new bike-rides!
Nice video! Inspiring. I've been in the Dolomites twice. I did the Sella Ronda starting in Penia but never try the Fedaia Pass but watching your video I kept talking to myself: I have to go back and try it.
Hi Leon! Fedaia from Caprile is a very hard climb... But it's a paradise on top, you can't miss it ;-) this was the final climb of the stage 20 of Giro d'Italia 2022 too
