This is an amazing guitar! I purchased one New Years day 2017. The neck is fast and fluid, allowing a guitarist to get up and down the fingerboard with ease. The USA DEAN DMT: MICHAEL SCHENKER SIGNATURE LIGHTS OUT Bridge Pickup is stock on this model and it totally rocks. Made to Michael's detailed specs, it really screams his signature tone. If you get the chance to play this guitar, a smile will break across your face and ears!
i got mine for $160 at a pawn shop, excelent deal as the amp had no issues at all, the only negative thing about is that the imitation amps doesnt have eq on them , they use the general eq. so if you use a footswitch to change between clean and this imitation amps , the eq is not always right.
Hi. Nice guitar! What's your opinion on the DMT Lights Out pickup? I just bought a Flying V and an thinking if putting one if thesE at the bridge! Are they great? Really worth it? Thanks
@SwedishBlouse Well, for one thing, the amp only has one input so to plug a guitar and a mic into this amp you would need a mini mixer. Even if you managed to connect both the guitar and the mic I still don't think it would be advisable. Whatever setting you had on the guitar would also apply to the mic. If you had an over driven 'Mesa Boogie' sound with a phaser on the guitar you would have the same effect on the vocal. When you switch to an AC30 with tremolo the vocal would also have tremolo.
@TheFretDancer I use my cube at band practice and its ok at keeping up with drummer.. not amazing but i wouldnt recommend it for gigs unless really small. Good amp though
@whitewayfarers I live Music and Guitars and go Giging all the time with my band, i have done this for a long time and you say i know nothing? Lmao go gete a life kid!
Lmao at Pro Amp Comment... My Line 6 is Amazing! My Band all play Marshall's and Mesa's but i take my Flextone and there amazed! Its the best £250 ive ever spent.
Actually the cube does. Think about it, just becasue you may have a line 6, the cube still sounds better. Roland work with boss who make the best effects pedals and all the sounds have been incorporated into this amp!
This IS a pro amp! Line 6s are good but not that reliable and expensive to repair. The sounds on the cube are amazing and cus they sound authentic and rich. The problem with some line 6s is the volume jump when you change channel! Amps like line 6s and fenders sound too tinny; they dont have the rich sound of the cube!
Ive tryed all them amps out... Cube is one of the worst, Vox is a little better but bad. The Vypyr and Spider are both very good Amps... Just going off experience!
:( You're right in saying that this is not a pro amp. But recommending the Line 6 spider over this? Look: VOX VT for more classic stuff Peavey vypyr for heavier stuff Roland cube a bit of both. Those are great practice amps, even usable to some extent as giggin amps. Line 6 is just noobish. It gives you too much but nothing really remarkable.
no i have a line out of my shittt marshal mg series amp lots do. its not a dream to have a line out because no one uses them. if you look at anyone doing demos of good amps, there is a mic in front of the amp. you just clearly dont know what you are talking about
Haha exactly! You need to learn! Its a Guitarists dream to have a Line out on Amps but not many of them do... :( There very handy for recording or going to a mixer.
This is def not a Pro Amp. This is for Beginners who are starting off playing Guitar, Because it is Very Cheap and Loud! I would recomend a Line 6 Spider instead of this because it sounds so much better!
I don't know, probably can if you put it a high volumes, I have the 20x version and this thing can scream enough to vibrate my rooms walls, my wood desk, etc.. The 60 is probably enough.
