Very cool. I have a Clare Bice painting of a stormy harbour on my wall. I found it the other day at an estate sale. I think it depicts someplace in Newfoundland. I read “The Art of London: 1830-1980” by Nancy Geddes Poole and would love to get more information about the painting. Perhaps one day I will make a road trip down the 401 and pay you a visit.
@ jeffrey Roberts: SO WHAT.... lots of recipe painters out there....yep its frustrating they get the attention and the commissions....take a look at furniture stores selling recipe paintings probably from Chinese factory artists...what few furniture stores are left after covid closings should get creative and have their own local USA painters doing what Delgado is doing... set up a corner....No spray paint artists , do an artist a month... maybe car dealerships do artists that specialize in automotive ....if you want to get fussy have the artist selection juried...but that can get political....don't we all know that....sumer is comming...open up all those dead mall parking lots to Art demos and sales.... plenty of space for socail distancing....mall insurance carriers step up....this country is closing down soon all will be owned by either china or Bill Gates...
Recipe !!! Rembrandt, Van Gogh, Picasso and Matisse in late life, the late great Bacon.. Does it WORK for the artist ! Is he elevating rather than pandering ! This is the Question ? I'd like to see you're attempt !
are you the one who gives out the artist membership cards? i'd like to apply, should i send you a full body photograph for my consideration as an artist or just a face shot will suffice?
