I am an avid traveller and I have started sharing my journeys. I am a mum of two and love to plan my travel looking for information before visiting a place, because I like to know where I am going and best experiences of the place, food and culture. With my RU-vid handle I want to share my experiences at any destination I visit, to help other travellers know where they are going and what they can expect. And to provide an experience of the destination to people who cannot travel for any reason. This year I am touring UK and Europe. Travellers can gain some overall information about place, or pick a thing or two from my experience. If you find the videos helpful, please join me in my journeys and Like, Share and Subscribe for new videos and updates. Thanks to all the subscribers, it means a lot to let me know the videos helped you in some way👍
Going to try the ferry and island hopping next time. This time around a storm was coming and ferries were cancelled. Thanks for the suggestions and stopping by my channel :)
Even when it's raining the highlands are still stunning actually brings out the colours of landscape . As a Scotsman born and bred that's had the privilege of visiting every nook and cranny of Scotland I've got to say your video brings back many happy memories . So many thanks .
Thank you for the lovely comment! You just spoke my mind. No matter when I visit the highlands, I have always found it beautiful. And I always make plans to go back, ha ha. Nature is addictive 🙌
6:32 The Pap of Glencoe. I climbed that with my kids in 2021. They weren't best pleased, to say the least. They were OK once we got to the top and even more so when we got back down. Stopped off at a shop and got some cokes, which were the best drinks they had ever had in their entire lives 🤣
Ah, the lovely MK to Glasgow road trip. Done it many times myself, what with me bring from Glasgow and living in MK! Usually OK once you get past Preston, but not all the time.
Agree … we were really stretching ourselves driving to Scotland in a single day, that too when days are short. Driving in mountains through single track roads in pitch dark night, with moody rains on, is pretty scary tbh. Next time I would prefer to split my journey and continue the next day if I visit in winters again.
Thanks for the lovely comments. I had the exact same thoughts and was so inspired to shoot the video. Wanted to keep driving in Isle of Skye and wished the sun sets late 😄
Hi! We are really enjoying watching your videos. We know how hard it is to make this content and to get a YT channel off the ground, going through it ourselves! Especially fitting it around kids. So have subscribed to show our support! Look forward to seeing more!
There was a fort but it was turned into the Abbey which closed down and was turned into flats. The old place used to be my school. The old boat house is now a restaurant. 🤔.. Good video. Fond memories.
