Hi I'm Esravei! :3 I enjoy playing video games, mainly MMOs and cozy games. I am currently playing a lot of Palia and have many other games I am excited to play and create content on in the future!
Top left corner ...the little green symbol on my switch , a person and fishing rod with numbers beside it going from one to six ...then it after a bit its gone...would love to know what it is and how i got it..thanxyou..enjoyed your video
Thank you! I would really like to take part in the cake party, but I thought that until I had apples or blueberries, I wouldn’t be able to. It turns out that for some roles you only need what you can take in the open world or you can buy from Zeki!
In order to even SEE the fish on the Switch you have to hit the reel in button & if you stop reeling in, it doesn't simply go away, you lose it & the bait. So the cancelling fishing to save bait thing doesn't seem to work on the Switch, unless I'm not doing it right.
Incredibly helpful video. Brings across all the info (and it's not to long). I was nervous to go to my first Cake Party, so stuff like this helps enormously, thank you.
The way the game is set up, you are basically guided along in a linear way instead of being able to vary the overall playstyle you have like you would in Stardew. That's why I feel it has low replayability
I went to a party(first party I went) and I was on the jam station and was using blueberries and they gave me a hard time and had to switch so ig don’t use blueberries ig lol
I know this video is older, but I'm going to take a shot at it either way. Do you have any advice on how to break this down to a group of 3-4 ppl? I want to help my friends, as well as community members do the cooking weekly, without needing to do a large cooking party. Not only do a lot of us prefer smaller, intimate cooking parties, but it's easier to organize, and gather ppl rather than trying to work with ppl we've never met. A lot of ppl I know on switch (friends) get overwhelmed with discord.
It'll take longer to do the cake but you can assign 1 person for each table. So one person can do all of the oven work, one person does all of the prep table work, one person does all of the mixing stations work, etc. You can optimize with just 4 people but it'd be some trial and error on what you think is the best arrangement. It's definitely possible though!
I’m stuck on Patel’s quest where I need to breed a different color spiggan. I literally tried breeding probably the 13th time now , all with breeding charms and still can’t get a different color one. Were you able to do this? I’m beginning to think there’s a bug.
I think the price tag really is quite steep. I have not played it, but it seems like there is quite a bit of stuff to do, the fae dungeon for example. So there's progression happening all the time because of it being linear and requiring you to move on to unlock things in the game. So it looks interesting. But just watching a couple of people play it a bit I noticed the lacking dialogue from NPCs. I don't think it would be that difficult to just add more lines for them. Get a couple of people brainstorming lines for each character for a day each and that would surely provide a plethora of lines. £50 for the deluxe edition seems very steep, but I suppose it depends on the DLCs that will come out for that. If they only intend to add some cosmetic items and clothes, then it's not worth it. If they will include extra story, extra areas, etc then that might change it quite a bit. It's £30 for the base game and I would maybe expect it to be £20 instead.
There are things to do for sure, but like you said not $40 worth of things to do, and that's where the main issue lies for the game unfortunately. It simply feels incomplete.
the game is not perfect and yes those bugs should be fixed. repetition is normal because its a farming game. I didn't like how the multiplayer works. It could have been better if the progress you have can be used in other people's world. The price would be fine if the future updates would include a bunch of items, stories, and continuous quests. I got mine because i love fairies LOL so i still like it.😊
Valid opinion, but I have played several different farming sims and all of them have a lot more replayability than Fae Farm. I love fairies a ton and that was what initially made me curious about the game, but I am glad you are still enjoying it!
I bought this game on Switch and I’m REALLY hoping Phoenix Labs addresses some player concerns with the December DLC I already paid for. I love the art style and the game is beautiful. The movement possibilities are cool although I hate falling off cliffs or docks by accident when I’m fishing and having to swim all the way around a rock to get back up. As fast as the game day goes, I don’t have time for that. My two biggest complaints are the speed of game days being way too fast, (even a pause when constructing would help as I enjoy decorating) and the relationships. I got married and all my spouse does is wander around my farm and poke things with a stick or drink tea. Occasionally he goes somewhere else for a while. But the dialog between us is the same as when we were just dating and he never even comes in the house. How weird is that? Also, it took me 2 game years to breed all the flowers and you can’t even take them and make seeds for your other farms. You have to start over at each farm. No thanks.
The relationship is basically nonexistent imo. So 100% get what you're saying. Also I agree on the flowers!! There should be a thing where if you breed all colors, you unlock seeds for them.
I got it on steam and after playing just a little while I knew it was going to be bad, luckily I was within the return window for steam purchases and could get my money back. Sad to see a game with so much hype before launch isn't worth the enormous price tag
thanks for the tips :) helped me for sure to get my money back before i play to much that i cant get it back because for sure is alot of bugs that i am not a big fan of them taking there sweet time of doing because it not worth the $60
From the people i've seen on youtube who really enjoyed it were from youtubers who got it for free. Its a game thats worth like, 20 euro MAX. Great video :D
I bought it after watching those reviews!! And then after playing I was like okay well now I have to make a video so that people can see the other side as well. Thank you!! ^.^
So after the patch has been released, S6 has stated that hallways do indeed count towards the building limit, and they made an error when writing the patch notes. :C But doors and porches will not count still. "Hallways still contribute to the building limit on your housing plot, and that is intended to remain. This miscommunication was on the CM team side when we wrote the patch notes - it’s our fault. We misread a ticket, got excited, and we’re incredibly sorry. We promise to be more diligent when checking our sources in the future."
One good one, if u farm ores and whatnot, and once you finished all the levels you want to farm, just exit the mines, save, go to the title page, and eneter the game again. The levels will replenish. Not sure if they'll patch this out in the future, but for now, it works.
Ah gotcha!! That's a good tip, I just kind of go with the flow so I usually don't exit the game but this is super helpful for people who need ores badly!! :3
Nerfed. Pretty sure the company has imported devs from ArcheAge. Because as soon as it's working, they "F..ix" it. 2:36 Star quality Blueberry pie is now 90 gold. I'm not sure, but I think "nerf" isn't the right world lolz - shrinkflation applies here. Just can't wait until it's a fully "available to buy" game. And we'll all have moved onto something else, because the game company saboteurs have been hard at work. Who IS that masked man who goes to every planning meeting and says "OMG!!! Everyone loves XYZ - Let's kill it".
I believe they just added new recipes but currently I have 2 stoves, 3 ovens, 8 mixing stations, and 4 prep stations. I've so far been able to make pretty much every recipe I have needed. Here's a link to how my kitchen is setup for cake parties, it might be helpful to get an idea of how it looks! prnt.sc/uaY1GpiAWPiD
Are you trying to use both Star and Regular ingredients? You can't have 1 leaf high quality and 3 normal quality, you have to have all of one or the other.
I haven't had this issue and I've been playing since it came out of closed beta, maybe you need to re download or search more it could be that others are getting to it before you. Though I will look out for this when I play hope it's not a new bug
Thanks for the review. I thought the visuals looked cute but was SHOCKED at the price . I agree it’s way too much for this game. If it goes on sale I’d consider it though😊
I thought the devs were crazy when they released the game for 60. Still not paying 40 for it... That fishing mechanic seems painfully boring and tedious
You do realize the devs dont come up with the price when it comes to games nintendo are the ones making the game 60 atleast on steam you have the option to choose between paying for the dlc or not with the 40 and 60 prices. Altho i think with the amount of stuff thats in the game and 40 is not too bad a price tbh
@@cryssyyxx Yes it is usually determined by the publisher of the game, but the point is whether this game is worth buying when you compare it to other farming sims, which I would say no to when you consider all prices
@@Esravei Ooh, this is good to know! Now if only my Internet didn't keep putting up lag - I hate to complain, but when the connection isn't very good..... dangggg, every action, whether it's solo or in a cooking party, whether it's chopping spice sprouts or flipping, has me standing around and just twiddling my fingers once I complete it. I've ruined two things due to The Lag LMFAO >~~<; I wonder if anyone else has been frustrated by this. If so, yr not alone! lol
@@pinkcloudsnightlightbell I get that one 100%!! When I lag cooking actions get verrryy choppy. (Get it, choppy bc it's cooking?? Lmao but seriously lag makes cooking really frustrating)
THIS is probably what's going to make me leave Palia. I joined an MMO, not a cooking simulator. Far as I'm concerned, if I have the recipe and ingredients, it should be a click and wait for completion situation... I mean, it's not like they make us assemble all the different parts of furniture.
Plenty of MMOs have cooking mechanics though, they just differ in how it's done. FFXIV for example you have to craft food with specific skills in order to successfully make it. It's just more interactive in Palia. But you are valid for not wanting to do a whole lot of actions just to make the food since cooking isn't your focus in the game overall
Maybe submit this suggestion to the Dev's, I just don't know of many people that have 'complained' about this since Cake Parties are very much worth it.
I am pretty done with the game as it is now. The Chapaa hunt is not fun/cozy, the last pieces of furniture use so much flow while the flow trees seem to spawn less and let’s be honest this is not an MMO. Just a lot of people playing solo together. Luckily I have Starfield now and I will check back in a few months (maybe)
