Hello, I am The Exotic Foreigner who is an ex-New Yorker. I escaped to find a new home in Asia and found many amazing wonders that I wanted to share with the world. Here you can find Walking tours, Interviews and documentaries of life in Asia.
You know anything else? I´m a lonely person, I have no kids, I´m not married, the only thing that I don´t have is money, for this reason I still living here.
I´ve realized that Los Angeles is a beauty city really, I like it a lot, its weather, its neighborhoods, if I could, I´ll move there because I´m tired of living where I am.
Nice video, the places of my childhood 😁👍! Where're you from? I would recommend you to walk and make a video around the Opera House ✋ Ok, from NYC, welcome to Almaty 😁
00:00 Begin 03:16 Friendly kids 21:30 Take a photo with us, please! I love seeing the interaction with local folks, so others might like it too! When I was in Xishuangbana, China, a monk broke the ice and asked if he could take a photo with me. Seeing that, others got the courage, followed his example and I had line of people waiting to take a photo with me! I should have charged a fee! :-)
If I am not mistaken, it was on a weekday. This route I took is usually sparsely populated. Almaty city in general is quite sparsely populated with the exception of special holidays like "Naruryz" or "Victory Day"
Шикарный парк очень зеленый и тенистый в дни моей молодости зимой мы ходили на стадион кататься на коньках и конечно парк очень изменился в лучшую сторону
❤️❤️ So beautiful. Love how you show everything as you walk, so we can actually feel like we are there. Lush green trees, birds singing, so nice. Thank you
The interaction that starts at ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Y25PPHvK9MU.html where you're speaking (Russian?) with the local is fascinating! More of that please! In my personal opinion, think people would love to see both him and you conversing---even though it's a walkabout video! I know I would!
Yes, we were speaking in Russian (and a bit of Kazakh Language). Actually, I was going to cut out that part because I thought it would be very distracting for viewers. But had I done this, then it meant I would have to Re-Record from scratch at the bottom and up to the top of the mountain (part two coming soon). Mountain climbing is not my strength. Well, I hope it is a testimony that my language learning methods do work even if it is unorthodox.
good reasons. Perhaps you will be interested in a documentary film about the formation of socialism in central Asia - Документальный фильм "Ловцы солнца". This is a very good job with a lot of details that are difficult to find just on the Internet. It is of course in Russian, but automatic subtitles can be translated into English and, in principle, good language practice))
THANK YOU so much for this! I appreciate it. Although this is not a political channel there will be times I make videos in a pro socialist perspective.
I completely understand your reasons. I think it's always a very personal decision which languages you really want to learn. And if you really want to, then learning is easier and more fun. At least that's my experience. Btw, what is this beautiful building there in the background? It's very special.
