Hi I’m Chantal! I’m a digital planner creator - on my channel I’ll show you how to use your iPad and we do realistic tech reviews for the girlies, cozy tutorials, digital planners and I’m a big reader so some reading vlogs too!
I'm curious how this works with libby if you're in the US with multiple library cards that all use libby. Can you still send books from libby on your phone to the kobo? If not then are you locked in to the 1 library?
I HAVE SO MANY APPS ON MY IPAD AND THIS IS A GREAT WAY TO HAVE A CLEANER LOOKING DEVICE THAT IS CLUTTER FREE AND MORE EFFICIENT AND USER FRIENDLY. I MAY HAVE TO WATCH A COUPLE TIMES BUT I THINK IT WILL BE WELL WORTH IT - THANK YOUUUUUUU PAPERnROSES😊😊
i actually discovered you here on youtube first, and your videos have been SO helpful to me as a ipad newbie and fellow reader! looking forward to seeing what you do in the next year! I loved hearing your thoughts on goal setting and taking action -- really resonated with me and I totally agree.
Also looking forward to reading update. I just finished the throne of glass series thanks to your recommendation. And really loving the reading journal. Plus I followed your tutorial on creating the different focuses on the iPad. Game changer
@@papernroses those books had a choke hold on me. I literally had to discipline myself not to download the next one until I finished client work😂😂😂 I would say’oh im just going to read a few chapters then I’d look up it’s the next morning and I’m on the last few chapters 😂😂 I really enjoyed them. I could not do the tandem reading because I started Empire of storms and looked up and was on copy 27 lol. Then I just kept going.
I got the iPad Mini 6 when it came out and had that as my only iPad device because at the time I thought I wanted a smaller screen from my 2018 iPad Air. I decided to get the iPad Air 13” with 1TB cellular version because of the monthly payments and plus I live in an area where WiFi isn’t consistent I got the purple and I did get the new Apple Pencil my device comes in on July 26th because it’s on backorder I am so excited. I thought long and hard investing but I have no regrets because I feel like this device will last me a long time!
I do disagree with the cellular part. I have had older iPads with just WiFi only but I live in a area where the WiFi is shotty at best and I for the first time got the cellular version on my iPad mini and I’ve been able to turn in my assignments on time and could use international data when I had to travel emergency to Colombia for health reasons and a flood cut the power including WiFi so having that cellular data support was really clutch for me.
Thanks for the video. I’m pleased to see Goodnotes for Windows, despite the fact it’s not quite as polished yet as the IOS version…I note on their website that they’re planning further updates/improvements. I really like the IOS version, but the majority of my uni work is done on a Surface (as Word for IOS is just not as intuitive having grown up on Windows computers), however OneNote is too much for my needs…Goodnotes hits the spot for me.
You should review the Bigme B751C. I have it, and it seems very similar to this Boox, but it comes with the stylus and you can annotate in color. I’m interested in how it stacks up against the Kobo Libra color, but very few RU-vidrs have done reviews on it. I love it so far, but it’s on the heavier side for an e-reader, and some of the apps can be a bit glitchy. I also wish the library was more aesthetic, but you win some you lose some.
@@papernroseshonestly since writing that comment, I’ve been a little frustrated with it, but I want to like it because I spent money on it. I have been trying to read out of their app vs kindle just recently. The kobo app just does not work, the pages only half turn, so you get half of the text. Regarding reading and annotating, you can highlight in multiple colors and write on the page, but when you go to look at your highlights, it doesn’t tell you the color of the highlight, and the writing shows up as a tiny screenshot of the whole page. I really wish there was an easier way to scrub through your annotations, see the color of your highlights. I was trying to figure out how to download my notes and see them on my laptop or iPad, but I don’t know how to do it. I do really like that it connects to Bluetooth other than audio, so I can use a page turner without having to clip something to the screen. Not sure if the Kobo does that.
I regret buying the boox tab mini-c. I find it heavy and laggy when swiping. I bought it because I wanted a coloured e-reader but I ended up buying a kindle paperwhite and I’ve been using my kindle to read ebooks..
Pros and cons depending on what your preferences are! If you want to annotate you can only do it on the kobo libra, if you don’t want to use just one reading app you can only do that on the boox!
Right here, right now, I want to comment in all caps THANK YOU ❤ because that’s exactly how my heart is screaming. Thank you for taking the time to share this on-point, clear walkthrough of your iPad home setup. My mind just decluttered while watching this video.
I appreciate the thoroughness of your review. I’ve been using a kindle paper white and while I love the reading experience, I resent being trapped in the Amazon ecosystem. Thanks
I’m soooo unhappy with this. I got my book journal from Sandy Siren and there are no videos to help me in good notes. I don’t want to keep buying journaling pdf from different places only to be stuck in a thumbnail he double hockey sticks!!! I picked a cover and now I’m stuck there. I swipe, I’ve favored the cover and I’ve renamed it but that’s all I can do. I don’t have an index page guys what am I doing wrong?!?! Yes I’m new to this 🤦🏽♀
I got mine from Sandy Siren too. I’m in the same boat. The books with different colors as names are journals but I’m not finding a way to “customize” it.
