Nice...I worked at Libbey-Owens-Ford Glass Co in the mid 90s where we produced windshield, sidelight and backlights for Toyota and GM. It's a cool process from producing sheet glass, to cutting, tempering, sanding and laminating processes. I'm thinking "O-I" is Owens Illinois out of Toledo, OH.

@@Louis-mz2yx Nothing but stress. So many things can go wrong. And then there is the monotony. Same old routine day after day, Put plates on. Set up machine, print jobs, clean up machine, not to mention the smell, and the noise. Plus you are inside the whole time.Don't take the job. And if it's a bigger machine, then it is simply more physically demanding. Try something different, and fun, like cleaning swimming pools, or tour guide maybe.
@@Louis-mz2yx I've been doing it 9 years from helper to operator and its not a terrible job whatsoever. Some people will whine about any job. At the end of the day it is basically a factory job and it will differ from plant to plant/ company to company. Cleaning swimming pools? Lol if you want to make decent money, take the printing job.

Hi Competenz NZ , Great video you have produced here, I really enjoyed it, great content. I particularly enjoyed the part at 1.00 explaining the qualifications your require for this kind of work and what the work is like. Similar to route myself. I felt it was really informative and you really brought the point across well. I am really interested in engineering and have had a career in maintenance engineering for over 28 years from everything from starting as a mechanics assistant to now a Project Manager. I enjoy sharing my skills and knowledge as well with others like yourself. I have provide training to others and had apprentices work with me to kick start there careers. Many thanks, Great job.
