My On cloud monster Hyper are super comfortable. I have tested different brands like AD NI AS And for people that love to have long walks, ON are my favorite
Nice one man, really great to hear your new approach to it all! And looks like you're off to a strong start already, hope training goes well, will definitely be following along 💪
@@RunningWithTK Thanks heaps Tim, I didn’t plan the race as well as I should’ve but fortunately things went alright for the most part! Now it’s time for some rest and recovery… hopefully I’ll catch you at Sydney harbour 10K, C2S or Sydney mara haha
Great approach. Just be as fit as possible.. And of course enjoy running and don’t overthink it. Running is basically a simple sport Will for follow your journey 💪🏻 Greetings from Netherlands.
Amazing video mate! Congrats on your PB. Doing under 60min with an average HR of just 156. I wish I could do this :) Also plan to do 60min but looking to have around 170bpm on average to achieve that.
Thanks so much mate! Hopefully back around this pace this year - had a decent injury right after this last year so a bit slow getting back to it! I'm pretty surprised it was only 156, that should be closer to marathon effort - from memory it felt much tougher than that 😂 But good luck with the training and the sub 60✌️
Im not sure for nursing but they are very nice and soft on feet after a long day they keep your feet very comfortable after standing for a long period of time the only thing I think may be a problem is that they are not very grippy if that makes because I know that nurses got to have a nice grip or no slip shoes but I would give it a 7 for nurses not bad but not the greatest. Hope that helps
Hmm.. Where do I know this guy from. Did I meet him when I was in Sydney. Wait a minute... It's TKNORTH😂 I've followed your TKNORTH channel for a while (got all the presets) and just got the Cloudmonsters and here we are. Definitely will follow this channel too🙌🏼
Wow great to see you back Tim and well done for holding on all the way to the end! Enjoyable vlog as always, and now I definitely have to try the Tokyo Marathon someday haha, anyways keep it up man 🙌
Thanks so much Rob! Hope to finally start building some fitness now but just happy to be back running again. All the best for GC build mate, looks like you're flying!
hey TK - did you get my message about using this video as part of the BBC TV coverage of the event this year? thanks so much! would love to use if we can. Phil
Love this video! Have just dropped you an email about using it if possible in this year's TV coverage on the BBC of the event. Would be great to hear back from you as soon as you can. Thanks so much! Phil
Great vlog. Very emotional at the end. Great time. You will never do anything as hard or as rewarding as the marathon. Physically and emotionally it takes all youve got. London is an amazing event. I was running too ( back again this year for my 9th London ).
I use them as a walking shoe. I also have a insole that lifts up the arch of my foot. Also look up foot exercises and soaking your feet in Hydrogen peroxide. I plan to buy another pair of Clouds for casual wear when I'm not @ work! good luck .
Amazing!!!!!!!. I've tried severally to get into London & had visa issues as well but I will be there on April 21st 2024 by God's grace to finally get this feeling in person after running London virtually thrice 🥲. I can't wait... Even if it'll be just 6/7 days after my Rotterdam marathon. Thanks for capturing the emotions in this manner
I was lucky enough to get a spot last year too through lottery & got emotional remembering it as I had dedicated to my father who passed August 2022. I was hoping under 5 but just missed 5:03. Crowds were epic. Congratulations well done.
Your comment about weight is spot on. Im 87 kg and run 200+ miles every month. Sadly ive discoverd many shoes reviewed as comfy for distance ( hoka mach 4 for instance) dont work for me as the weight i carry is too much for them . Trial and error has left me using novablasts and Adidas pro 3s . Ps I measure all my distance in miles (over 6300 in 32 months ) as im not french 🤣🤣 thanks for review.
Great work. You really captured how hard you were working near the end of the race! I’m trying to watch as many London Marathon videos as I can. I’ll be there for 2024!
ill be running my first ever marathon this coming dec. 3 here in Singapore. I needed this so bad. thank you for sharing and documenting your experience. you empower me and get back to my training. /respect.
Would these be good to wear during long baking days for support for your feet? Of moving around a lot, not necessarily to run in. I won these in a competition and I'm too unfit atm to be a runner 😂
Doing london next April for my first full. Done a few halfs around 01:38 so hoping to go sub 3:30, out of interest dude what was your half pace going in to your 3:30 attempt? Thanks for a cool video! Could really see how much you dug deep and enjoyed it
Thanks so much and all the best of luck next April! I think you'll do great if you've built up the distance nicely from those half marathon times. I think in London I split just under 1:45 at halfway. I was pretty much right on 5min/km up until 30km but then started to fall off a bit!
