No, very dangerous. It’s like wormholes, you can’t see players in local chat, so you don’t know how many players are lurking about. I’ve heard the gates can be camped, but i haven’t tried flying system to system there. Plus, i don’t think that space has good relics sites, but i could be wrong. Has anyone else tried hacking in pochven?
Maybe a dumb question, but how did you jump to 1260km from that station to make that perch bookmark? I ask that because I see you make that jump to 100km, but you end up 1260km from that station (@12:50) .
2nd rig to reduce align time doesn't help you. 3.53s=4sec. (based on server tics.) You know that, but you added the 2nd rig anyway. Why is that? Btw, don't forget to stop your ship (0 m/s) when you're hacking. Otherwise, when moving, your align time will be longer.
« You Will never find a data cache in a node of 6 rule » are you sure? Your last example show the opposite. Data cache in the bottom left is in one of the 6 spots
Hey I watched your challenge vid and saw you routed out a very long route with stops along the way - how did you know which systems to stop in? I open the agency tab and go to a system with lots of signatures and scan them all down and leave with 4 million isk. I'm wasting time!
no, both account can be Alpha or Omega. You can run 10 Alpha accounts if you want. The only thing that gets restricted is the ability to play 2 accounts at the same time, this is when both accounts need to be Omega. Playing multiple accounts at the same time is called multi-boxing.

I went exploring the other day i spent 2 hours at only found 1 data site lvl 4, used 3 filaments to move and it was at latenight... I dont understand how u constantly get sites
The only comments regarding their experience ganking Herons in null sec are irrelevant unless You have ganked THIS FIT in null sec by scanning it down. If you haven't ganked herons with this fit or have never seen herons with this fit in null sec then they are successfully evading you.
i've survived many attempts to scan down this FIT, normal pilots in space will not have combat probes strong enough. the only pilot to scan me down, was a local that had to login to a different character to that had the Virtues implants that cost Billions of ISK. something the random null hunter won't be flying.
Hey alpha bob! I recenlty met your channel and your guides are useful for new explorers. Just want to ask you for some advice, after completing the whole scanning and caldarifrigate skills I am getting 69 probe strenght instead of 72 as you recommend not sure what other skills do I need to train in order to get that 72 strength without investing in sistes probes or changing the fit
You can shift-click on modules in fitting to cycle states in the opposite direction; makes it a single Shift-Click to go from Active to Online instead of three regular clicks.
When you had him on D scan warping in close, why didn't you pre-align to a gate and when on D scan warp to gate? Worried he has friends on the other side?
i know you do your route when hacking and it's pretty good i don't know, but if you make a site respawn, it can respawn elsewhere not in your route :3 and making a route, you surely don't go into those systems when there is only one gate. but i know these systems have really good loot :D
you're my hero in eve online dude, at 3:18, you could've go in the middle. just a little mistake :) i pay my omega just with exploration and honestly i didnt find more rentable activity in the game as a new player i mean. Benedikte Jola is my ingame character now :)
and its not really a mistake but i use tag 1 for lesss than one million, 2 for less than 2 million, 3 for less than 3 million, A for less than 10 million, B for less than 20 million and C for more than 20 million
Hey Alpha Bob, a good video would be null sec relic hacking comparison between using an Astero v Metamorphosis. It's a shame the Black-glass implant if for Omega clones only.
How do you determine your route once you're in null sec? I tried going to null earlier but my filament took me to a highly populated area and I wasn't sure where to go

Ok…. Alpha Bob,…you are making a video, and trying to explain to people who ARE LEARNING. But,…you zip along so fast that it is hard to see and understand what you are saying and visually try to figure out what you are doing. Even after rewinding several times, it is still pretty hard to see what you are doing and why because you click a node, and we in viewer land are trying to look at the number and process what you are saying about the next move, BUT..by the time you finish explaining about one node you clicked you have already clicked up to 2 or 3 other nodes and you skip to explain where you currently are forgetting that we dont understand how and why you clicked the nodes in between and how you wound up where you are? Are you confused about what I am saying? I feel the same way about watching your video. I believe that you are good at hacking these problems, but you should really SLOW DOWN AND EXPLAIN WHERE YOU GOING NEXT before you just start clicking away and find the end and pat yourself on the back. Maybe…. If….you…..slow…..down……you …….will…….get …….more…….likes……. , Bob.
I could be wrong, but it looks like you clicked a node on the right that showed "5", yet you proceeded to click a node that was only 2 spaces away to the left (revealing a virus suppressor that could've been avoided) at 21:40
yes, that virus suppressor was a node i didn't need to click (at 21:42), i needed to break through one of the blocking viruses (Firewall & Anti-virus) with the Vector (angle) utility and i picked the Firewall. using the vector tool, i needed to click on 2 other nodes for it to lower the HP on the Firewall, but that suppressor was on the 3rd (unneeded) node which caused me to fail this hack. Nice catch! I will send 100 Million ISK to you, just replay with your in-game name, or message me (Alpha Bob) in-game.
@@alphabob_eveonline yeah, the first click on the subsystem counts too right, so the 3 turns could be "1 click on the subsystem + 2 elsewhere". You might have been at a “ghost” site, it will say covert research facility and give you a warning yellow triangle with ! inside it. The rats appear between 30 secs to a couple of mins. They will wait about 10 secs before they lock up your ship and shoot you. Also, if you fail any hack it will explode with 10,000 dmg. Instant death for most ships. As an Alpha you can have an Astero that can survive the blast, but still very dangerous.
Maybe I missed this tip. When you are close before downtime just cherrypick and leave 1 can alive. If the sites are bookmarked you can return after server startup and find the sites to be fully reborn.
